I have a choice. Stay home and binge movies I havent seen or hit the cinema during the day. Wwyd?

I ask because when I am here I dream of getting out but now I have a day off I am not sure I can be bothered!! But I am worried the washing or ironing will take priority Sad the irony

morallowground · 14/04/2019 22:07

alilstressed · 14/04/2019 22:08

PodgeBod · 14/04/2019 22:22

MyKingdomForBrie · 14/04/2019 22:24

juliej00ls · 14/04/2019 22:25

Binge tv

GreenDragon75 · 14/04/2019 22:29

binge watch tv and don’t even get dressed. Perfect day 😀

Marilynmansonsthermos · 14/04/2019 22:31

Go to cinema! I'd prefer to get out of the house, otherwise I'd see all things that need doing and end up tidying up etc

Stay home, binge watch movies, eat yummy things and maybe stay in pyjamas?! Bliss!!

elizabethdraper · 14/04/2019 22:35

daytime Cinema is the best. Always completely empty.

You can sprawl out, I have been known to bring a pillow and blanket. Loads of goodies and have a lovely relaxing time.

SnowsInWater · 15/04/2019 06:31

Cinema if there is something good on. Nothing beats cinema popcorn (and a choc top).

Bibijayne · 15/04/2019 06:33

Cinema.

Finalyfine · 15/04/2019 06:44

Stay home and order in food. If you feel guilty do some ironing whilst watching tv, just make sure you don't burn yourself!

Or quickly tidy living room, put on scented candles and close the living room door. Put your feet up and enjoy bing watching.

speakout · 15/04/2019 06:59

Neither.

Take the iron to the charity shop.

Thepacksurvives · 15/04/2019 07:16

I'd go out because I know I'd end up doing jobs and not chilling if I stayed home

Rubberyduck · 15/04/2019 07:18

Lol almost.a 50-50 split. Only movies on are 5 feet apart or instant family. The rest are cartoony. Going to town has the benefit of abit of clothes shopping....It used to be so much easier when you had more than one day ever to plan for yourself 😂😂

I'd go to town, have a coffee, walk round the shops, cinema if there's something on I want to see. Lovely!

Whatever you choose, enjoy!

Logoplanter · 15/04/2019 07:26

I'd binge TV and do the ironing at the same time. It'll get rid of the feeling of guilt that you'll have but you still get to watch the TV. However DH says I'm not any good at treating myself so I may not be the best person to give advice!

AgentPeggyCarter · 15/04/2019 07:28

I’d cinema. Coffee before and ice cream to take in with me and a mooch round the shops after. Bliss!

BarbaraofSevillle · 15/04/2019 07:28

I'd go for a walk and pub or cafe lunch and do some TV watching too. Best of both worlds.

Queenfreak · 15/04/2019 07:29

I'd go for a lovely long walk along the seaside or a NT property. Have lunch in a proper restaurant with my book, then to the cinema, home for a long bath (eith book again) and early night.

Drogosnextwife · 15/04/2019 07:34

Would completely depend on the mood I'm in but the cinema during the day is brilliant, only if there is something good on though.

Dontforgetyourbrolly · 15/04/2019 07:34

I'd go half way. I'd purchase a film on line or buy a dvd I really wanted to see. Still cheaper than cinema. Order some nice food or buy some lovely snacks and wine. The beauty of it is you can pause to empty the washing machine and kill 2 birds with one stone!
There's rarely anything I want to see at the cinema that would justify the prices these days!

ShowOfHands · 15/04/2019 07:34

If I had an entire childfree day, I'd only go to the cinema if there was something I desperately wanted to see. Otherwise I might watch some TV in the evening, again if there was something I particularly wanted to watch. I'd go for a run, read, write, craft, walk, cook, eat, garden.
