I have a choice. Stay home and binge movies I havent seen or hit the cinema during the day. Wwyd?

I ask because when I am here I dream of getting out but now I have a day off I am not sure I can be bothered!! But I am worried the washing or ironing will take priority Sad the irony

Exercise and cinema.

TooOldForThisUrgh · 15/04/2019 08:40

Google pictures of Idris Elba and eat cheese.

Coldilox · 15/04/2019 08:41

TV binge. I currently have about three weeks worth of Neighbours and Home & Away to catch up on

outpinked · 15/04/2019 08:42

Cinema, I hate being stuck in the house.

SciFiScream · 15/04/2019 08:55

Neither! Oh the things I would do with a kid free day.

My DH and I often book a day off together while the kids are at school and after school. Maybe twice a year?

We drop the kids off, then go for a cooked breakfast (breakfast like a king!) then we normally have all sorts planned. We go to Museum exhibitions, art galleries, run loads of errands (fun ones), maybe the cinema if there's a long awaited film on, etc.

It's great to have that time together

I know yours is alone but you should go big! I think you might regret watching TV all day.

Netflix and ‘chill’

cricketmum84 · 15/04/2019 09:01

I would nip out and buy some goodies, wine for later, find a new series on Netflix and relax :) also there's hardly anything I fancy on at the cinema right now and their snacks are extortionate!

DocusDiplo · 15/04/2019 09:14

I always say I will go to the cinema alone and never do. I would go shopping and try on loads of clothes as that is Impossible with kids.

Laiste · 15/04/2019 09:19

Alone? Stay home and slob about with nice food and TV/PS4.

With partner?
Well, yesterday DH and i were child free. We hired a digger and we dug the foundations for our patio and enjoyed a quickie on the sofa during our lunch break GrinGrin

myusernamewastakenbyme · 15/04/2019 10:08

Stay at home...you are in the warm and the cinema is a rip off anyway.

YouTheCat · 15/04/2019 10:42

If there's not really anything you fancy at the cinema, I'd stay in and watch films. I've already been to town and am now watching Wonder Woman.

Ragwort · 15/04/2019 10:47

Depends how often you get a kid free day, I spend a lot of my time alone (by choice) and I do enjoy the luxury of a day at home alone (I have an expression ‘I just want to sit in my own sitting room with my own choice of tv’ Grin) but I also like spending days mooching around out of the house, exploring new towns, National Trust places etc.

Rubberyduck · 15/04/2019 11:57

Well I envisage this will be the last day off to myself (may have one with DH) for the year....it's my bday this week too so do want to use it for myself.
