Heavens. This heralds the death of the "comments" sections in newspapers and online forums.
As can be seen on MN, it seems anyone can trip up and cause offence, even if they really don't intend to. I have seen people taken to task for using an outdated term for SN, even if the new term is extremely recent and has not yet filtered down to the general population.
Of course it is unacceptable to threaten, or doxx (is that the term for revealing personal information?!) or abuse another poster or member of the public, but it seems that any heated (or even bland) discussion could cause someone to blow the whistle. There is a poster I've seen on here who shouts "racism" and "reported" about everything . It's tiresome because it derails interesting discussions on a topic that's not about that. The poster just seems to comb through threads picking on people.
