Was quite shocked to see this. Will this be a test case? Mumsnet is such a tame well run site compared to the comments I see in the online press. Is the writing on the wall for free (cough) speech or is it a culling of trolling. Personally I think that something needs to be done, some folk have no filter or are just plain nasty.

Sorry, just seen you didn't miss it after all. Not sure if you ,missed the part of go on define woman for us all and I said no, as you (general you) have no intention of listening without ROFL's and trotting out but that's not a woman.
As I said, people might not accept transwomen, that's fair enough, that's up to them. I do though and so do others

If you don't believe in self-id, as you have stated, then at what point does a male become a transwoman and therefore, in your opinion, have the right to be accepted as a woman. Does that male had to have had surgery? Top and bottom, just top? Do they have to have been taking hormones? For a certain period of time? Or do they just need to wear what we would stereotypically class as 'woman's clothing', wigs, make up etc?

Again, back to the middle of the thread - woman = adult human female. It's the only answer you're ever happy with which is what makes the entire discussion pointless as you don't or won't listen to anything else.

But yet you’re more annoyed about women refusing to accept that people can change sex, than the abuse that women receive. Do you pull the abusers up on that language, when you sex them calling women bigots, or telling them that they should shift over and give men a woman’s place?

And remember, if you put across an argument, someone counters that argument and you don't have anything to come back with, that doesn't mean that you 'haven't been listened to' and it's 'pointless to engage'. It just means you are not very good at debate.
