Was quite shocked to see this. Will this be a test case? Mumsnet is such a tame well run site compared to the comments I see in the online press. Is the writing on the wall for free (cough) speech or is it a culling of trolling. Personally I think that something needs to be done, some folk have no filter or are just plain nasty.

I've only ever seen them when they say 'a woman is anyone who identifies as a woman' but as we know, you cannot include in a definition, the thing that you are defining as it is then, by definition, not a definition.

Thank you sackrifice I will read that. It seems like an uphill struggle to get information without the cloak and dagger business and it's really uncomfortable. It's frustrating to want to be informed and feel like people almost don't want you to be!

I knew this individual had reported Boudica10 to the police for harassment and malicious communication. I had somehow missed there was also a civil defamation case.

I've just noticed that this individual's (now dropped) case against Graham Linehan also included a claim of defamation. I hadn't noticed this connection before.
