For a week now there has been none of the black tins of tomato soup with chilli or Mexican spices.

Are all the Brexit stock pilers buying it?

Haven't stockpiled it though. Maybe the government are. Can't imagine they'd release it to us plebs, we'll get the cheap stuff.

Surely your own would taste much nicer. Make a huge batch and freeze. You want none of that salty stuff

Does anyone know what's happened to Lidl's Black Forest ham? It disappeared before Christmas but then came back in smaller, dearer packs but recently it's gone again. I need it for my canteloupe melon, strawberry and BF ham breakfast, proscuitto and the like doesn't work!

My birthday is mid march and every year I say to my best friend it's just one year closer to being able to buy a Halloween costume on my birthday....

What I want to know is why my local Morrisons doesn't sell chocolate rice pudding

Because chocolate rice pudding is either so disgusting that nobody buys it or is so lovely that it flies off the shelves? (I will have to try some in the name of research)

I want to know why Waitrose doesn't sell sesame seed bread.

Thing is it's sold online. And they sell rice pudding with SULTANAS in. And chocolate custard.

I make chocolate rice pudding in the slow cooker and it is fucking LUSCIOUS (though I do say so myself )
I make a huge one as we are a family of 5 - about 500g of pudding rice, pint of milk, bottle of chocolate milk, three tablespoons of brown sugar (cos the DCs and DH have very sweet tooths (tooths? teeth? ) and set it away on high.
Stir it after a couple of hours, then after four hours add chocolate (Aldi's own ma brand milk 40p a bar stuff is fine) broken into squares, leave it to melt and tuck in It works out at about 10 portions.
