To feel sad for this teacher?

This teacher was sacked because one of her pupils saw a topless picture of her. She sent the picture to her partner two years ago and somehow the pupil got it. It seems so unfair that her whole career has been ruined. Surely lots of reputable women have taken nudes, someone should have been punished but I don't feel like it should be her.

Reading the comments on social media is so sad. People calling her a 'slag' and even a pedophile.

Yes I'm suggesting it's not a great idea to send pics of your tits to anyone what ever your profession. I said 'our girls' because they'll grow into women. I have never nor will ever send a pic of my tits to any one. I dont have many rules but that's one of them.

And of course men shouldn't do it but it's generally not men getting sexually exploited. It's a fucked up unfair world, one in which I will encourage all my kids what ever gender, to not send naked bits of their body digitally.

FFS teachers can't do bloody anything - the comment about 3 bottles of wine of an evening, who are you to judge?! Do you have proof of incompetence? They really can't do anything right xx

Don't know where the kisses came from!

There have been a couple of cases of teachers being sacked because parents saw online photos of them holding alcoholic drinks.

As a teacher we recently got issues with 'social media guidance' to ensure we look completely professional online- no alcoholic drinks to be shown in photos and such.. we also got advised to change our names on our accounts.

I can't understand this idea that other adults struggle to see teachers as human beings who might like a drink. Then I read Cht110 I'd be more concerned about the teachers we used to see in the local pub on a Tuesday night sharing 3 bottles of wine between them (2 of them) than Mrs Boobs Out.

Is this really how people think!!?

This woman should be allowed a personal life. She sent the pic to her trusted partner. It's not a crime! (Even for a teacher!)

The post about the wine was light-hearted, the poster clarified.

I do think there's a minority of people who believe that because teachers are around kids at work they need to conduct their entire life in the same manner, aka no form of adult activities.

I'd only be concerned if I saw a teacher at a pro racism rally or disablist or misogynistic posts.

Otherwise, crack on.
