Gordon Setter - the funniest dogs with so much character to make up for their lack of brains. They also smell bad, but no dog could love you more.

I've had Lhasa Apsos all my life and although they are stubborn, fussy, and can be quite yappy, they are one of the most loving, loyal, and funniest breeds out there. Here is a pic of my gang.

I work work dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes and my favourites ever are: whippets lurchers and greyhounds (my absolute faves!!), labs, springers, golden retrievers, collies, and crossbreeds of all the above. Corgis are quite cute too! Some JRTs are nice too. All the above tend to have great temperaments, and compared to other breeds also have pretty good health (well labs are not so healthy but they get a pass for being so magnificent in every other way!)

Oh and forgot to mention, rescue all the way!!!

All dogs are the best dogs, but I especially love floofy faces and big feet. However my spinone has been the greatest thing in my life. I didn't know I needed her so much until she arrived, and I can honestly say every day is better when I'm with her.

My parents had old English sheep dogs when I was little I still love them.

Boxers for me. My first boy died 3 years ago. He was the kindest, daftest most loving dog. My 2 nd boy is 3yo and has exactly the same temperament.
I have kept boxers since 2004 and have seen a boom in their popularity since the John Lewis ad. I do wonder what the effect of this has on boxer rescues as they are not the easiest of breeds.

My idiot golden; eyeballing me as I pee because I told him we would go a walk soon 🙈. I have small kids and he is just the most loving bundle of stuff to them 🥰

Wire haired fox terrier....notoriously hard to train with poor recall but doable with effort and good training. This boy needs a strip in this photo....he looks like a different dog without the coat

Not really a dog person but I love collies, labradors and pugs. Actually I think most dogs are cute but I wouldn't want the responsibility of living with one.

crossbreds all the way! So beautiful, healthy and intelligent. We've had 3 mongrels. Love amazing.

I love my Cavvies, though also very partial to a gundog. So nice to see some solid coloured Cavaliers on this thread ❤️
