I'm in bed.
I've just remembered there is laundry outside on the line.
Shock
I really cannot be arsed to get up, get dressed , turn off burglar alarm, go outside and unpeg the bloody stuff.

Turn over
Snuggle up
It doesn’t matter...........

OldAndWornOut · 01/04/2019 00:36

I put mine out of a night to try and keep up with the piles of dirty washing.

hopll · 01/04/2019 00:40

Leave it and stay in bed! Nothing that can't be sorted tomorrow

polarpig · 01/04/2019 00:40

Ignore it, it's cold outside.

Sunny525 · 01/04/2019 00:43

50:50, I would struggle to get up, but getting darked on means spiders int the sleeves.... Sad

meladeso · 01/04/2019 00:44

@Sunny525 Grin exactly!!!!

meladeso · 01/04/2019 00:44

@Greeborising I think I have to. Only one eye open replying...

mclaleli · 01/04/2019 00:46

But it will get darked on Grin

powershowerforanhour · 01/04/2019 00:48

Don't go out there! Lest the falling damps affect your humours. Sod the washing. Hopefully you are asleep by now.

JollyAndBright · 01/04/2019 00:57

Noooo

Not only will it be getting darked on but all the spiders will be rubbing their willies on it.

AND..... what will the neighbours think!!!!!!

Grin
IAmNotAWitch · 01/04/2019 00:59

Meh, it is just washing. It doesn't matter.

notharryssally · 01/04/2019 01:26

I don't really understand how line-drying works Blush We dry inside and use tumble dryer. Surely clothes will not dry outside the same day. So must be left overnight. But if people don't like to leave it out overnight, what do they do with it?

QueenEhlana · 01/04/2019 01:28

You'll have spider willies on your clothes!!!

Boredgiraffes · 01/04/2019 01:29

It’s fine, you’ll just have lovely new housemates in the “clean” bedding. I though would leave it and wash it again tomorrow

madvixen · 01/04/2019 01:32

Notharrysally, in the right weather it will dry in a couple of hours outside. And line dried bedding smells amazing!

BloodsportForAll · 01/04/2019 02:33

Checked in google first, seems "darked on" is a MNism. So what does it mean?

Stuff the spiders etc. Just sort it tomorrow. It's already dark, spiders may have already happened, and whatever being darked on means, will have occurred.

crunchycornflake · 01/04/2019 02:44

Leave it OP. If you go out, the spiders and other night lurkers will crawl up your PJ legs and get into all your nooks and crannies

Greeborising · 01/04/2019 02:48

I’m now thinking of all those spiders rubbing their genitalia on washing 😳

IAmNotAWitch · 01/04/2019 03:56

Wait, what? Boredgiraffes you would wash it again tomorrow? Why?

I regularly forget I have clothes on the line, sometimes they even get rained on in between (this is known as an extra rinse cycle here). I just bring them in when they are dry and I remember.

As far as I can see, nothing bad has happened.

TheoriginalLEM · 01/04/2019 04:01

Spiders don't have willies.

IAmNotAWitch · 01/04/2019 04:13

Tell you what, I hope no one ever has a look at my google history from today.

Googling politicians to decide whether I would shag them for a million and now spider's reproductive arrangements...

NutElla5x · 01/04/2019 04:30

I cannot believe I am googling 'do spiders have a penis?' at 4.30 on a Monday morning!

NutElla5x · 01/04/2019 04:33

They don't btw. They mate with the appendages at the front of their heads which are called pedipalps, which I think is an excellent word!

MaitlandGirl · 01/04/2019 05:13

I always dry my clothes overnight during the summer (Australia) as everything gets bleached during the day and it’s too damn hot to be outside by the line.

Just give it a good shake in the morning and it’ll be fine.

Misswontmissdontmiss · 01/04/2019 05:31

Unless the clothes on the line were the only clothes I owned and it was going to rain radioactive acid overnight, there’s no bloody way i’d get up.
