To think at 25 I shouldn’t be called a young person

I’ve been out of university for four years now. I work in a professional career and have a one year old daughter. Today at work I was referred to as a young person by colleague. When I think of young people I think of people who are just getting started in life.

My 64 yr old mum is referred to as the "young one" by her walking club, because they're mostly in their 80s. I'm 28 and my 16yr old sister constantly tells me how old and boring I am and how she can't even imagine being as old as me.

It's all relative Smile

I was having a conversation last night with two friends about something that happened when I was a child and started my sentence with "you won't remember this because you are too young....". They are both 45 and I am 57 😂

25 is most definitely young. Don't waste your youth being offended about trivia

If it makes you feel any better, anyone under the age of 18 will think you're past it 🤷‍♀️

Well my sil and my cousin are both 27 and they both act like young immature teenagers only interested in beauty regimes, Instagram and drinking. They both don't have children.

Im only a few years older than them but the difference between us is huge. I think once you get to 30 your seen as a proper adult

Lol.... I was referred as a 'young driver' on my first car insurance when I first passed my test. I was 29 Wink
