This is just another reminder to everyone that while we don't mind hosting a discussion about this documentary, we will obviously have to delete any posts that are pure speculation or just not in the spirit of the site.

We'd like to remind everyone of our Talk Guidelines, and also that we're here as a place of support, to make parents lives easier. We'd really appreciate it if everyone could bear this in mind when posting.

I've read the police statements from family and friends who travelled to Portugal in the days after the disappearance to help. They all say the exact same thing; That Gerry and Kate McCann were absolutely distraught in private and that lots of tears were shed but tried to be composed in public.

Gerry McCann's sister stated that he called her shortly after Madeleine's disappearance and was hysterical, shouting and crying and that he didn't feel the Portuguese police were taking it seriously.
