I am not being dramatic! (I promise )
I am a first time Mum. My son is nearly 12 months old. He is amazing and I can not remember life without him! My son is happy and healthy, as am I.
My AIBU is... (I am prepared not to get much sympathy) but AIBU about not being able to keep any weight on? I LOOK LIKE SKELETOR! I was a comfortable 9 stone (slim yet curvy for my 5"2 height).
Since I have stopped expressing for my son (time in NICU) I just can't keep the weight on? I am down to 7 something stones (I don't want to admit how small I am) and I just feel... all bones?
I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. I don't snack much (childhood values) and I don't drink alcohol. The pounds are falling off of me and I long for my womanly curves!
I need some advice? I look like a prepubescent teen Blush
It's difficult to talk about in RL because I understand I am in the minority with new Mums. I just want my boobs back!! Grin TIA x

You're not eating enough! Have proper meals!

Dates! They are full of calories, healthy and delicious. I love them but can’t even look at them without putting on weight.

And stop engaging with duster, she’s not worth your time.

Something a bit weird about this thread

You absolutely “love” pasta, full day Greek yoghurt, MAC & cheese.

And yet you haven’t been eating any. At all. And seem surprised that these might be quick ways to gain weight. Confused

"OP HERE! Sorry have recently name changed.
I wanted to come back to this thread and say a massive thank you to those who advised me to see a GP. I had my bloods/urine done and it turns out my kidneys aren't functioning properly. I don't know too much yet but my urine has high levels of protein and my potassium and white blood cells are concerning from my bloods. I need to have follow up tests to find out what is happening but I have been told this explains the weight loss. So glad I went to the doctors! Thanks again everyone, and in the meantime I am still following the good advice I received from you with the diet Smile"

So nothing weird about the thread, just someone who was ill asking for help, and I do hope the doctors found out what was wrong and she's ok now.

It's a great sign that you're feeling great, but as it's not normal to lose drastic amounts of weight while eating normally, you SHOULD go see your GP. Like I said, don't worry yourself sick over it, since you're feeling good there's a good chance nothing is seriously wrong, but just in case. My mother has been toothpick thin since menopause. My understanding is that most women gain weight after that. She's fine healthwise, so some people just have different reactions to hormonal changes than most others.
