To ask if anyone is actually comfy in a bra?

I am 54 and, having had no kids, have reasonably “perky” boobs. Hey, being childless has to have a little upside, ok. Average cup size. I hate wearing a bra! Obviously need to if inappropriate not to, but find most bras hellishly uncomfortable really. Do I have any ummm..support for this view?

OP, at c cup you can wear a comfy bra

I wear my bras quite loose, my favourite are Calvin Klein soft cup bras. They look good under a t-shirt, and are comfy to wear (I have the straps so loose they almost fall off my shoulder), and I measure around 31 but wear a 34 (no bra interventions for me please Grin)

For sports a Nike sports bra is good.

The CKs are so comfy I hardly know I am wearing them

AnyFucker. I am only comfortable in a bra. I have special sleep bras too
i agree with you. I hate my 38DD boobs flopping around and wear a bra all the time: I can't imagine not doing. Wired bras for work and smart occasions, but unwired otherwise. In bed I wear crop tops - so comfy.

Yes, comfy - I wear a 36E. Some bras are not comfortable though! My favourite at the moment (so much so I have three the same) is also the cheapest:

Mine were comfy until I put on weight. Even though I have bigger bras I find big boobs uncomfy even in a well fitted bra.

I am on a diet, I can’t spend the rest of my life trying to ram these into an elastic and wired contraption and then carrying them round.

I only have two comfy proper bras amongst the 40 odd I possess Blush, which are just plain old slightly fraying tshirt bras. I have recently bought a couple of sports bras though which are so comfy you don't even know you're wearing them.I bloody love them, and just wish I'd thought to try them years ago!

Always glad to get mine off at the end of the day...what a relief. I’ve got quite big boobs (36F) and feel that I need underwired for lift and support. Rigby and Peller are good with measuring and fitting, if a tad on the expensive side.

I am uncomfortable braless (F cup post breast feeding). A note on Australian sizing. The band size is usually not correct. E.g. I am a 10/12 in clothes but need to wear a size 8 band.

Love my bras - 30GG, and those need underwires to hold them right. If I'm upright without a bra on it is very uncomfortable. I spend time finding bras that fit - even bras in the same brand vary, so the 30GG is my 'usual', but I can be 28GG to 32F, depending. I think however you measure yourself, you cannot beat trying on and seeing how they look and feel, because for example a stretchier fabric will have more 'give' than a non-stretchy one, which might change your band size. There are so many variables.

I don't wear a bra in bed though - I do like the fun of the occasional Miranda Boob Clap when I roll over.
