To really not like my teenage daughters sometimes

Sometimes I just really don’t like them. That’s it really. I do t like their behaviour, I don’t like their attitude and sometimes I wish they would just go away (temporarily...kind of!)

YANBU at all.

I won't be sorry to see the back of the teenage strops, disgusting bedrooms, moods and general selfishness when my DDs grow up and leave home.

On the other hand sometimes they are so lovely and kind and utterly hilarious that I think I will miss them so much when they move out and I'm stuck with DP!

I think it's the way it's meant to be as a PP said.

I don't have teenage DDs yet, but DD1 (nearly 10) is already an expert at backchat, so I have no doubt she'll be a right madam when she's a teenager.
