I think that there is a genuine worldwide push to divide people at the moment.
White vs black, religious differences, sexual orientations, male vs female. Rich vs poor.
In reality, i think it's more like political ideology playing us.
I've usually gotten along best with people on my income level and I've started at very bottom. Now tryng to stay middle.
I can say this current "everyone white is evil" isn't anymore true than "everyone black is evil." We need to think for ourselves and STOP being led down this path of division!!
I remember food rotting on docks bc of corruption in 80s. In 90s there was a concerted effort to rebuild infrastructure that failed too.
Until governments are responsible and govern fairly, Africa will stay in conflict. They're in flux right now and China is/was setting up schools there? Why? To better use the people for labor and mining resources?
Religion is being used to keep conflict going. Education is a weapon to prevent people from gaining their own lives. Or rather lack of education.
Africa is a continent. Many countries. Many governments. Not even a common religion. It's had generations of war and despots.
It's not about collecting money. Nothing will change until the politics does. Going over there to help is both laudable and stupid.
I do not know the answers but I'm really sure that there is something bigger afoot than what is obvious.
It's not just Africa. Step back a look at the bigger global picture. I don't know what's going on, but someone's ginning things up.
This is an American former politician who seems to have more understanding than most about our world's turmoil.
