about 'morning glory'

Do other have this where OH is quite 'fruity' first thing in the morning and it is like the worst time? I struggle with this, need to get up with the DCs and just fancy a cuppa really not a romp! But I guess it is just nature that they feel like it first thing in the mornings. Is it a men are from mars women from venus thing, I usually feel more sexual in the evenings and in the mood, not first thing in the morning. Or AIBU?

Morning sex is my favourite! So I don't think it's a m/f divide. I'd try to compromise a little and have the odd morning shag (obviously not if you really hate it, you should never have sex you don't want).

I don't think it's a male/female thing either, just down to preference. I think it's a brilliant way to start the day personally but morning sex does tend to be quicker because of weekday routines etc

Testosterone builds up while men sleep, depletes during the waking day. Hence why hornier in the morning. Women tend to be the reverse. Good old mother nature...

I think men get turned out quickly and women take longer to warm up...generally...well read that anyway. seems like that to me anyway.

I don’t think it’s a m/f divide either. Me and DH are both equally raring to go on a morning. I don’t think I need time to warm up either. I just think sex drives vary in people.

DH without fail, usually keep it to the weekends though unless we wake up a bit earlier than usual but it doesn't do much for me so it's always a bit of a lazy one.

Every morning here, best way to wake up! We actually set the alarm half an hour earlier specifically for this purpose.

I much prefer morning sex! Way too tired in the evening but we have young kids that we have to get up with so I will make do with occasional sex.

Definitely do not like. Besides, sex makes men especially sleep heavily and makes you drowsy. Surely the exact opposite of what you need, heading off to work???

god i hate that expression 'morning glory' along with 'family crown jewels' they are both so Envy inducing [not envy]. morning sex is great esp. as the kids have left home Wink

Not a male/female thing here. DH and I both find it the best way to start the day. I’m less tired so more in the mood. Still doesn’t happen often though as we have 2 early rising children.

I love lazy, sleepy morning sex.

DP always sleeps way longer than me though so I'm always wide awake by the time he comes round and its not quite the same.

Hmm, I think this^ is an individual thing really. Sex gives me more energy. Saying that, I could take or leave morning sex. Last time I woke up quite horny and we had morning sex, DH didn't enjoy it at all as he wasn't awake enough yet so we are now mainly daytime or evening people. But I definitely think its not a m/f thing.
