They’ve taken chocolate and crisps out of the vending machine in work and replaced it with seeds, nuts and 20 sections of the SAME flavour alpen bar (not even chocolate)! To make matters worse they are £1 each! You get a multipack in Tesco for that!

Lighthearted, mostly. We are all adults and if we want a kitkat with our coffee surely we are old enough to decide! Apparently ‘management’ decided. No warnings, I am outraged AngryGrin

A little of what you fancy does you good. I'd rather have moderate amounts of food and drink that I know are unhealthy in excess as part of a varied diet, than delude myself into thinking I'm being healthy by eating a synthetic pretending to be "good" version.

There should be a choice of healthier and less healthy versions.

Too much sugar is harmful, but there are times when it is of use. Unlike artificial sweetners, it's not completely nutritionally void. We also have a good idea of its effects on the body, whereas the current levels of mass consumption of sweetners is a giant experiment.

The standard we are being assessed against is 75% healthier options. Unfortunately that appears to be low fat/high sugar. :(
