Ouch.

Yep. We lost just about every deduction. You can't even deduct charitable contributions anymore! But, we did end up paying less taxes out of pocket because I was smart enough to increase our deductions back to what they were last January.

We haven't finalized our return yet, so I haven't had a chance to compare 2017 and 2018 total taxes due dollar-for-dollar yet.

Trump mocks Jeff Sessions's accent, as he has been reported to do in private, saying, "I'm gonna recuse mahhhself."

There was a bit of a not-totally-pleased gasp at CPAC when Trump did this, in my subjective opinion. Trump has denied Woodward's reporting that he has called Sessions a "dumb southerner."

Trump is criticizing Sessions and Rosenstein at length, complaining that they, and Mueller, weren't elected, unlike him. He appointed both of them after he was elected.

Trump tweeted recently about an assault of a right-wing student on a campus where he mentioned the possibility of the withdrawal of funds - he was pushed to do so by his MAGA base.
