To hate these emojis - 😘😊

This last month I’ve noticed these particular two emojis posted regularly, usually on the end of ‘hun’ type nonsense.

AIBU to hate them?

I don't like hun either but I think the emojis do have a time and a place and can be used sarcastically too which is always fun!!

I just discovered legolas 🧝 I use him a lot.

🙄 Is my favorite though.

I like 😊 and use it a lot because it's not as 'try hard' as 😀 or 😃 or 😄.

Also like 🤓🤔🙄 but still not the same as the MN ones.

I hate this one!!! 🤷‍♀️. It makes the person read as really dim! And a bit useless. Hate it.

I usually use 😘 when I've made a cheeky or sarcastic comment to someone so they know it's a joke and I love them really. I use it like I used to use winky face.

I use 🤷🏻‍♀️ as "I don't give a shit!" So I like that one!

🦖 I recently discovered t-Rex which I love... just because, well it's a T-Rex emoji... what's not to love! 🦖🦖🦖🦖😁

The moment a man uses this --> 😜 he goes down a fair way in my estimation. Shudder.

I’ve got an agin about the 😘 one since my ex used it excessively in the messages I found that he’d sent to the OW. Never had him as an emoji user till then.

So I’ve taken to using 🥰 instead

☺️ and 🙂 on the other hand. Can't quite pinpoint my issue with the first one other than its simpering, pleased with itself smugness.

As for the second one and its tight little Presbyterian smile - if you're going to smile, then SMILE, mate - it doesn't actually cost you anything, so crack a big one or go home.

Our local hun crowd are all about 😤 (when they are FUMMIN hun) and 👏 usually when someone shares a long ranting post about being a strong independent mummy because their DC have feckless dads and/or anything that starts with the phrase ‘I’m not racist, but...’

About the only one I use is 🍑💨 (peach fart) which is a dd2 favourite.

I use these a lot: 😱 and 🤮 and 👍🏻 And 🙅🏻‍♀️. I don’t know why but all seem negative except the thumbs up one 😂. I hate 🤤. It just looks crude!

I always use 😊😘 for my family, nieces, dd and my friends dds. Don’t see the problem.

For instance, when there's a thread where the AIBU is something like, "to not understand why some people like ?" Then the appropriate response is, "YABU, because as an adult you should understand that not everyone has the same taste as you. 🤷‍♀️"
