Whats for dinner tonight?

I was going to get the M&S meal deal:

Coquilles St Jacques
Scallop shells filled with succulent scallops in a creamy white sauce, garnished with creamy mash and a cheddar cheese crumb

Gastropub beef bourguignon
Slow-cooked beef in red wine with roasted onions, button mushrooms and smoked ham lardons

Triple-cooked chips
Thick-cut chips basted in beef dripping

Twin hearts
White chocolate mousse and passion fruit on rich almond sponge, and dark chocolate mousse and red berry on chocolate sponge

But we didn't eat last night's dinner so I might make up another menu incorporating that.

Going to be getting back very very late so just some pitta bread and hummous here

Either a Chinese banquet (probably hot and sour soup and duck pancakes) or takeaway pizza (our local pizza takeaway is actually really really nice).

Going to order after dc goes to bed and curl up on the couch under a blanket and watch a film

It's my dads birthday so seeing him today, which of course makes it a rather none romantic day for us 😂

Cooking has gone out the window, I'm drinking wine so we're having chicken wings with Frank's hot sauce and pizza. Proper junk for a treat.

Marks meal deal, steal and peppercorn sauce pie, their triple cooked chips. And toffee tarts for pudding. I also bought the yummy marks gravy. I'm debating the prosseco as DH has just had an operation so on a lot of painkillers so I'd have to have the bottle to myself... May just stick with wine and save the fizz!

Tonight it's steak cooked by DH ( you can't beat an onion ring or two )

So many steaks, making me wish I'd got some earlier!

We're having macaroni cheese made with 3 cheeses because there can never be enough cheese, garlic bread and maybe a bit of salad. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert which DH is currently making whilst I sit on the floor of the baby's room waiting for him to fall asleep. Then we'll swap whilst he puts the eldest to bed and I'll get dinner out. Ah, the romance

DH is making samosas, chotpoti and saag with homemade paneer. He takes ages, but it’s lovely.

Fish finger and salad cream sandwich....

I prepped briam for the slow cooker last night. Was cooked to perfection by 7pm, served with a slab of feta and some crusty bread.

Chicken chorizo and Mediterranean vegetable bake
Large gin n tonic
No valentine for me DS cooked for me after a long crap day at work juggling elderly parent issues

Home made Thai red chicken curry with jasmine rice
It was a big hit

Just me and ds here and we had macaroni cheese with bacon, sweet corn and broccoli.

BBQ ribs, mac ‘n’ cheese baked on the BBQ and fries.

We had beans and cheese on toast as neither wanted to cook today.
