I'm not keen on dark brown eyes - I find them hard to 'read'. Dh has beautiful dark blue eyes and mine are hazel - a thin brown line around the pupil and the rest of the iris a dark green. One DC has eyes the same colour as me and one has inherited DH's blue eyes.

We all have green, i thought that was the most common.

Big preference for brown eyes 😍 I have 2 boys one with lovely bright blue eyes & 1 with a lovely brown shade. Both bright blonde hair.
I however, have this fucking weird mixture of blue, green & brown that looks completely different colours in different lights.

Myself and older daughter have hazel eyes. I’ve always thought they were a strange colour as in full light they go orange! My daughters go green! I always wanted blue eyes as a teen.

I have brown eyes, my daughter has brown eyes and so do my three grandchildren.

I love dark eyes, I find them far more attractive than blue. Most blue eyes here are that greyish mid blue that gets bloodshot easily, with pinkish lids.

Some parts of Scandinavia have beautiful blue eyes, very light piercing blue with tanned skin.

I also think green eyes look lovely with olive skin and dark hair.

Really wouldn't see the problem. As long as they're not denigrating other skin tones to make their point.

With regards to eyes I can't say I've ever thought one shade is more attractive than another. I only really notice eyes if they have an arresting shape, something different to the norm e.g. bigger eyes than average or almond shaped eyes.

Why on earth would you be uncomfortable with someone saying they think blue eyes are beautiful limited ?
We all have physical preferences of some kind or another, the OP loves brown eyes, and some love blue eyes. Others don’t give a shiny crap about eyes and it’s hands, build, skin tones, fitness, lips etc.

If you're correlating blue eyes to whiteness one of my biracial children has blue eyes. Nothing wrong with having a preference for eye colour.

DS and I both have very dark brown eyes which a lot of people compliment and I do like them but DP and DSS have the most stunning and unusual green eyes that i absolutely love.

We both have very strong genes- both our DS's are our "mini-me's" will be interesting to see whose genes win out if we have kids together

As are mine. DM is Italian but her eyes are hazel. I think i get it from my gran (her mum who i only spent time with for two weeks when i was four.) the only photos of her are in black and white and her eyes do look very dark.

Nobody is judging you as a person because they personally have a preference for or attraction to a particular eye colour. You couldn’t point to a single person on this thread who has said ‘I find brown eyes more attractive which means blue-eyes people are less valuable as humans’ because that’s not what anyone is saying.

I don’t see the issue with saying ivory coloured skin is attractive, just like I have no problem with someone saying very dark skin is attractive. You seem to be hinting that saying ‘ivory skin is gorgeous’ is the same as saying ‘black people are uglier than white people’ but clearly those are not the same thing.

It is absolutely acceptable for people to have preferences about what they find attractive. It’s ok to love brown eyes or grey eyes or blonde hair or whatever. It doesn’t mean that you think people who don’t have those features aren’t attractive, and it doesn’t mean you only value or respect people who fit your preferences. You’re taking someone’s preference as a judgement on your value as a person, and that’s nuts!

We don’t need to pretend that we don’t have preferences for physical attributes - especially not to strangers on an anonymous forum.

Not a fan myself. Blue or green light eyes are much nicer imo. I find them much more expressive and easier to read.

Dark hair and blue / green eyes are the most attractive combo to me, especially if they are gorgeous deep blue, 'Irish' eyes.

Brown eyes are so common that I don't find anything about them particularly interesting, My DH has beautiful eyes, they are green with flecks of gold and he has lovely olive skin.

I prefer light eyes but I do remember reading somewhere thatnprople brown eyes are generally perceived as more trust worthy.

I have light blue eyes, I hate them. I've had people stop me in the street to say how nice my eyes are so I understand that some people must like them, but I genuinely don't get it. I just see washed out blobs of blahhhh.
