I'd love brown eyes. I think they're beautiful, on men and women.

Me too! I always loved brown eyes and really wanted them. One of my friends has huge brown eyes with really long eyelashes. She looks like a Jersey cow, in a lovely way.

I have blue eyes, two of my siblings have green and one brown and I was always jealous. I quite like mine now, they are very dark blue so everyone assumes they are brown anyway!

DH has lovely brown eyes and both DSs have inheritated them. I have blue.

I do have a secret thing for men with green eyes though. Think it’s because they are unusual.

I’ve never met anyone else with eyes the same colour as mine. They’re very pale green so depending on what I’m wearing sometimes they look green and sometimes they look grey. I like this because it’s interesting, so I thought I’d be disappointed if DS had brown eyes like DH, however he has amazing big brown eyes and they’re gorgeous.

Hmmm, perhaps it's the eyelashes- most dark eyed people are dark haired too, aren't they?

My friend has the most lovely dark brown eyes, you can practically see yourself in them.

I like my own green/grey eyes but on a man I LOVE brown eyes. Dream man would have brown eyes definitely.

I have dark brown eyes and so do my parents. DH is v blonde and blue eyed. They DC have quite distinctive eyes ds green eyes with a hazel undertone (that one has my olive tanning skin); dd greeny grey and fairer - tans lightly like an English rose.

My maternal gran had blue/grey eyes and that's what blocked the brown gene. All dh's fam have blue/grey eyes. It's grannies blues that have knocked outbthe domonant browns. Someone sciency will be along in a min

No ginger, I'm light brown/fairish haired. And tan like teak.

I'm not a fan personally and can find them boring... I suppose it depends on shade and shape of eyes.

YANBU though, we like what we like.

I've always loved brown eyes. I was shocked when I found out a lot of people wish for light ones.

I would also love to have brown eyes and find dark eyes very attractive. However I have (or did have) blue eyes, they have gone greyer as I’ve got older. My DP has very light blue eyes (I was convinced they were contact lenses when we were first together) and both my kids have blue eyes.

apparently the darker your eyes the less prone to eye problems like vision deterioration or something (I did hear somewhere, could be wrong!).

I love green eyes but my eldest has very dark brown eyes, beautiful black lashes and eyebrows and very dark brown hair.

He's devilishly handsome and blissfully unaware of it.

My best friend has dark hair and impossibly pale green eyes - she is stunning.

DH has amazing brown eyes, like pools of chocolate. DS has got the same eyes, they are gorgeous (I may be a tad biased of course).

No brown eyes in our family. My dad has blue and my mum green. I have green.

DH mum and dad had/has blue. He has blue.

One of our sons has radiant blue eyes and the other has a circle of green and the rest radiant blue.

Nah. Except on my son, his are gorgeous hazel. I'm biased though, mine are bright blue and my best feature.

I much prefer blue eyes - particularly on a dark haired man. The contrast is amazing.

And no OP. My son has blonde hair and dark brown eyes. So do many of my friends. My best friend has bright red hair and dark brown almost black eyes.

DH and both DC have lovely rich brown eyes. They look fab on photos. I have pale blue eyes that look weird on photos. I refer to them as my Alsatian eyes.
