I've got really brown eyes, the only one in my family! I got something in my eye on holiday and bizarrely both eyes turned green for a few days, dc and stbxh were amazed! Turned back brown once the eye was healed, I've never known anything like it

No, Ive never been a fan. They’re too common (as in, seen more frequently than other colours) and you cant really see expressions in them if theyre very dark as the pupil is too close in colour to the iris).

I much prefer light eyes, such as grey, blue and green and any mixture of the above. I once knew a girl with the most stunning eyes - light grey with a dark grey outer ring.

I can't say I've ever thought about it tbh. Nice people have all different coloured eyes, as do gobshites. Mine are navy and they work, that's good enough for me.

When I had my dd and her eyes started to go brown I struggled (in a non depressive way) to accept she was going to have brown eyes!!
After 8 dc with blue eyes it was a very strange phenomenon tbh!

My DP's are brown and I have a little swoon sometimes when he tells me he loves me and I can see it in his eyes (sorry that's a bit mushy...)

My dad had brown eyes, unlike his sisters. I have brown eyes, and he always sang an old country song to me, called Beautiful Brown Eyes. Then my sister was born, she had blue eyes, and he stopped singing it, possibly because the last line was "Beautiful, beautiful brown eyes, I'll never love blue eyes again....."

I don't personally like them and have never been attracted to a brown eyed man. I don't know why. Some light brown/hazel eyes are ok but I prefer lighter

I have blonde hair and brown eyes. It was is natural. It's called Welsh blonde. According to my DM my hair was the colour of Welsh gold! And she's not one for compliments.

I have dark brown eyes - to the point you can barely make out my pupils and always thought they were very dull and boring. DH has green eyes, and DS has blue-grey eyes, both are much more attractive to my mind.

Dark brown near black eyes are boring. As I come from an ethnic background they run in the family... But hopefully my unborn daughter will inherit lighter coloured eyes from her fathers side. Fingers crossed!!

I do t have a preference. I have extremely dark eyes but DH has blue. Between us we have two blue eyed children and three brown eyed. So I can see the beauty in both... That said DHs mum has those really pale, slightly unnerving, blue eyes. Quite glad none of mine got those.

My 6yo son has 'weird eyes' like Ollivander! Golden Brown round the pupil then greeny-bluey in the middle and dark blueish round the outer but. He never knows what to say when he has to answer what colour his eyes are, bless him. When he had to paint himself at school he did them in blue as it was 'far too tricky paint then how they really look'. Very odd as his dad and I have dark brown eyes as does his brother. I generally find brown eyes more attractive burlt DS's are stunning (and weird )

I was so happy when DD turned out o have brown eyes. They’re medium brown. I’m always telling her how much I love them. DH is hazel and I’m pale green. Neither of his parents have brown eyes.
