To be shocked at salespersons attitude and view?

I went to buy a wetsuit today. I am an ocean swimmer and have an event coming up in 2 weeks.

Now I am not a small person but I’m not huge (size 14/16). The assistant asked me if I was training for an triathlon, I said no, that it was an ocean swim.

She then proceeded to ask me what distance and what event. I told her (it’s 5km). She seemed shocked and said “umm have you done it before? , it’s quite a big swim”.

I replied that I had. She then asked me how long it too me and told her I completed the swim in 1hr 25 minutes.

She nearly fell over and said “but that’s faster than I swim it!!!”

I’m assuming she was shocked that:
A. A person who isn’t stick thin can be sporty
B. a person in their 40’s could our swim someone her age (20’s).

I was a bit pissed off and asked her why she was so surprised? Then she went bright red and mumbled that I didn’t look like a typical swimmer and then continued on with the sale.

I think it’s a pretty shitty attitude and am considering complaining about her lack of professionalism. AIBU?

I was in the cosmetics department of a big department store where my friend was having a pre-wedding makeover. The assistant had recently got a "qualification" in astrology Hmm and claimed she could identify a person's star sign just by looking at them.

She told me I was a Pisces.
I told her I wasn't.
She as adamant I was.
I told her I wasn't.
She said I must be on the cusp.
I said possibly but I was definitely on the Libra side of Libra.
She said I couldn't possibly be a Libra as Librans are all tall and beautiful Shock

Her face when she realised what she'd said was an absolute picture. Fortunately, I'm fairly resilient and just found it funny (for context I'm 5'5" and okay looking - admittedly the friend I was with was tall and beautiful - but she wasn't a Libra either).

She was right to be impressed - 1h25 is v impressive. Lots of open water swimmers I know don't necessarily 'look the part' ...including those swimming through winter in skins. Nails. Take the smug points and move on.

I'd say, don't report her because complaints like that can get a worker in a lot of trouble. She is probably on minimum wage. I work in a shop and sometimes if you get tired or haven't had anything to eat because you missed your break, you can drop your guard and say the wrong thing. Then you can't turn the situation around! It's a nightmare. Just put it down to her having a bad day and putting her foot in it. She probably feels bad enough already.
