Had my cards read today, very interesting and strangely relevant.

Silly fun.

Romanov · 08/02/2019 21:56

truthfully, a load of bollocks, you can make anything fit if you want to

SlackerMum1 · 08/02/2019 21:57

Complete bollocks?! But a ‘good’ card reader or psychic will feel really relevant because their skill is reading people and reflecting that back.

PurpleDaisies · 08/02/2019 21:58

Load rubbish taking advantage of people’s gullibility.

Hunter037 · 08/02/2019 21:59

It's all nonsense

abbsisspartacus · 08/02/2019 21:59

It's fine as long as you don't use it instead of common sense and reason

lljkk · 08/02/2019 21:59

Crystals & stones are purty. I don't believe in magic.

recrudescence · 08/02/2019 22:01

If it’s just for fun, fine. If you have to pay, fraud.

DonkeyAtemyHomework · 08/02/2019 22:01

I am strangely psychic, my Dad was too, so I don't trust anyone else doing them, but when I do my own rune stones, they're very accurate. I can read them for other people too. My Dad doesn't do anything like it, but he has prophetic dreams, e.g. I rang him to tell him I was pregnant and earlier that morning he had told his partner, 'somebody is pregnant'. So when I told him, he said 'oh sure I knew'. No Dad, you didn't, but grand.

DonkeyAtemyHomework · 08/02/2019 22:02

Main thing, did they tell you anything nice?

DonkeyAtemyHomework · 08/02/2019 22:05

It's funny, but when I do the rune stones, it feels like there's a fire in my belly. Not like a heartburn pain, just a power or something. Hard to describe it. An energy or something?

Reading that, having done 3 sciences to A level, I realise how shite that is.

Annandale · 08/02/2019 22:07

um not much tbh. I do like jewellery with crystals but don't want anyone to think I think they're healing me or something.

DonkeyAtemyHomework · 08/02/2019 22:09

Another thing my Dad dreamed that came through was his BIL (my Mum's brother) crashing his car. He had told my mother about this, then sure enough, he's at work, and the dream, the exact circumstances happened.
I'm glad he had the dream about me being pregnant, as I was a young single mother, and in his dream he was happy at a Baptism and he was the one I was most worried about telling.

DonkeyAtemyHomework · 08/02/2019 22:11

Must get myself some rune stones again. I haven't done them in about 15 years.

MyShinyWhiteTeeth · 08/02/2019 22:14

Logically it's all nonsense but......

anotherwearytraveller · 08/02/2019 22:15

Total bollocks
And can be very dangerous when vulnerable people pay to hear stuff they want to hear and dodgy feckers prey on them.

EwItsAHooman · 08/02/2019 22:16

They're all pretty to look at but they're not magic, no one is able to predict the future and especially not via bits of card and rocks.

BrokeLuce · 08/02/2019 22:17

I'm not sure if psychics count for this question but at university I was very unwell and depressed. I spent hours calling psychic lines as I was scared I was going to die alone. I spent around £2000, a quarter of my student loan. So it's a no from me. I do like the idea of the crystals though.

Grandadwasthatyou · 08/02/2019 22:19

To put it politely, a load of rubbish.

DonkeyAtemyHomework · 08/02/2019 22:24

I've never charged anyone pmsl. It takes too much out of me to do a reading to do more than maybe 2. My mother incidentally was afraid of me doing her rune stones, in case I'd find out something she didn't want me to know. My mother was a complete cynic (as am I!). Yet, she wouldn't let me do them for her. How does that figure?
I just seem to have the ability.

DonkeyAtemyHomework · 08/02/2019 22:26

I believe in my own ability, but I wouldn't trust anyone else lol.

DonkeyAtemyHomework · 08/02/2019 22:28

And I actually do believe that they can serve a purpose if the person reading them can guide you into making a decision.
Note to self: Buy rune stones

Parthenope · 08/02/2019 22:28

Delusions can be surprisingly durable, Donkey.

The80sweregreat · 08/02/2019 22:29

Not much anymore. It's all money making scam : mostly.

Hazlenutpie · 08/02/2019 22:30

It’s all utter bollocks. 😂
