a vice. Mine used to be the booze, but I knocked that on the head when I found myself drinking up to two bottles of wine a night. Now it's shopping. I just love to shop,be it for food, stuff for the kids,make-up,clothes,shoes,household goods or anything else. I just get a buzz out of it. What's your vice? Is it something you worry could get out of hand, or do you see it as a simple pleasure that you deserve even if it might be bad for you and/or your bank balance?

Mentally tidying, de-cluttering and re-decorating my house. I never actually do any of it or buy anything to do it but I get sick of how I mentally redecorated it the last time so I need to mentally do it again. :o My livingroom has been builders magnolia for 12 too many years....Blush

Mine is wine (only a glass or two a time mind!)
Nice coffee
Chocolate

I also get the appeal of shopping, I don’t get the food shop online as I love walking round the supermarket looking at all the packets, seeing new products etc sad but true

I used to smoke, gave up in 2008. I thought it would be hell but it was surprisingly easy! Very occasionally I have a cigarette but don't enjoy it and think, "What was the point of me doing that?"

Had a couple of phases of heavy drinking a few years back but knocked that on the head because I felt so rough. I have a low tolerance level for alcohol and really don't like the taste so there wasn't much point in me doing it. I am a depressive and had the idea it might lift my mood. Two glasses, yes, any more and I was more depressed than ever.

Dog leads and dog toys. Dog beds. Dog blankets.
Omg yes! I get so much joy out of buying stuff for my dogs. My most recent purchase for them is a dog kennel,so that they can be close to me on those summer days when I'm sunbathing, but in the shade. I bet they don't go in the bloody thing though lol.

I've banned myself from buying them as I can't fit anymore into the cupboards until I've burnt some. Should be able to buy more sometime in 2040 Blush

Mumsnet?

SpinneyHill · 05/02/2019 19:25

I have 2 a coffee with several hob nob dunkers from when I get up to my last two one in bed.....sometimes I get out of bed and make another two one. I have been known to make one while my last is half full. I buy hobnobs in bulk and hide them under the sink, and in the bedroom.
It's not my fault though, some eejit bought me a coffee machine with a large jug and then the cash n carry let me see the bulk hob nobs.
They want me to die a coffee hobnob death

NutElla5x · 05/02/2019 19:27
