To be utterly fed up of advice?

DS is 18 weeks. He only has decent naps on the sling or car seat. He doesn't sleep well at night.
I feel like I'm doing it all wrong. I've people around me but none that can really truly help out.

I am sick to my back teeth of advice. People telling me to CIO, or put him on solids, or follow Gina fucking Ford. I've no idea what I'm doing and I'm so so profoundly exhausted. It doesn't feel like it will ever get better. But I'm so ground down by the advice. As well as people telling me I 'look tired' no fucking shit Sherlock.
Sorry. As you were.
To make me feel better - care to share any bad advice you were given!?

Thanks. At the moment he baps really well but only in the sling or car seat. This never used to be a problem but I'm wondering if it is now.

Loving the cooled boiled water advise. You can just imagine grandparents reading that somewhere and deciding it's the Holy Grail. Obviously you'd have given him hot dirty water only for their advice.

I slept with my sons binky for a night and it did make a difference.

At the risk of offering advice......... If your DS is on reflex meds and only sleeps in the car seat, do you think he just doesn't like lying down, because it makes his reflux worse?

My DS1 had reflux and would cry quite a lot, so someone gave us a wind-up swing (like the one in the photo below), and he LOVED it. It was often the ONLY thing that'd calm him down. I think he liked sitting up, as it was easier on his reflux. He'd sleep in there too if we let him.
