My MIL fancies André and she's 91. I developed a massive crush on Mark Williams when he played Arthur Weasley, but really fancy him as Father Brown. Blush

Presh12345 · 21/01/2019 17:53

Andrea bocelli!!!

MollyWindley · 21/01/2019 17:55

Engaged - beautiful song, but Kenny Rogers doesn't do it for me - Johnny Cash did, possibly I like country singers with an edge!

MrsTommyBanks · 21/01/2019 18:15

I had a thing for Norman Wisdom for a while. When he sang Don't Laugh at me cos I'm a Fool

MollyWindley · 21/01/2019 19:24

Presh - ooh yes Andrea Bocelli's lovely

EngagedAgain · 21/01/2019 19:36

Sorry to break this to you op, but have you noticed most people who like Andre are octogenarians, or whatever the one for 90's is. Still, look on the bright side - he'd choose you over them any day!

WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 21/01/2019 19:45

Nonagenarians 😂😂😂
Yes but some people like the older ones...I'm living proof of that by the look of things

If I'm honest I'd love for him to take me by the hand during a waltz and pull me close....and if the fiddling stick made an appearance in his pocket then well...what will be will be

Erŕrrr no.

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 21/01/2019 20:52

TrendyNorthLondonTeen Please get some help. Or go to church
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Grin

Well, I do see a therapist once a week, although the subject of slurping Thoms' lazy eye has never come up. Maybe I should bring it up, as the subject of my mother, has been done to death? It would make for some interesting analysis. I also I haven't been to church in years. I was kicked out of Sunday School when I was a girl though, for asking to many questions. Wink

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 21/01/2019 20:54

Judashascomeintosomemoney

Actually, I'm not. I'd fuck the shit out of him for his brain and his voice alone. His looks mean nothing to me. Smile

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 22/01/2019 22:06

Misslanes oh I didn’t mean you, I meant engaged she said she didn’t know who he was but she was getting some shut eye.... thought she was taking the mickey 😯. Anyway, I would too, bloody love him 😀

EngagedAgain · 23/01/2019 00:45

Just wanted to clarify I weren't taking the P! I'd never heard of him and was tired and about to go to sleep. Sorry only just realised how it must have seemed!

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 23/01/2019 04:33

Judashascomeintosomemoney, no harm, no foul! It's okay! Grin
In regards to Thom, I know right?! Even DH knows I would leave him in a heartbeat, if Thom were an option! DH took me to see Radiohead a few years back and it was easily one of the most intensely magical moments of my life! The man is a godsend! DH is pretty okay, too! HA!!! Grin

EngagedAgain No worries, darling! We're cool! Grin I never took it bad anyway, I was just teasing! It is true though, that I have the major hots for Thom though! His brilliance is just the sexiest thing in the world to me! I'm sure much in the same way that you feel about your crush! Smile It's just that X factor, don't ya think?

You’re not alone OP. My mum adores André Rieu. I’ve been to a few of his concerts with her and to be fair he is very charismatic. My brother, my DC and my nieces and nephews think it’s hilarious though.

EngagedAgain · 23/01/2019 17:51

Judas - crushe(S) I've got loads of 'em!

EngagedAgain · 23/01/2019 17:54

Sorry meant to be to Miss Lanes. Amelia - your mum doesn't happen to be in her 80's does she? Btw, OP is quite happy with this theory 😀😀

DarlingNikita · 23/01/2019 18:12

He looks like someone who runs a china stall on the market
Spot on Grin

I don't really know who he is. I think he turns up on Strictly once a year, or am I confusing him with Alfie thingy?

There's a whole species of 'slebs' who as far as I can tell live in a box and the BBC get them out once a year to be danced around by Anton Du Beke or some young Serbian with his chest out. See also Michael Buble, the latest re-formed boy band etc etc.

Anyway, yes, going by a quick Google you are being U. Although I've a recently developed crush on John Bercow, so who am I to judge really?

WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 23/01/2019 18:12

My crushes have always been a source of hilarity to people
Think this one is the most amusing/baffling
