I'm annoyed to read that he allegedly has a brand new Range Rover bad is back on public roads without a seatbelt today.

With elderly parents I know it's difficult but he's being a fool. OP post edited by MNHQ

According to the media, the lady with the injured wrist has been contacted by the 'palace' with a kind message. I think she wants something more than that (& she may well get it, it's still early days), but my understanding about car accidents is that the parties involved aren't supposed to be in direct contact. Certainly do not admit liability.

I knew someone a few years back who knocked a chap off his motorbike, the chap was injured but not seriously; anyway my friend went round to see him to suggest they sort it out between themselves, he offered money too (was well off) but he got into some trouble over it.

The Duke of Edinburgh must be insured, surely?

The passenger has been on This Morning now milking it for all it's worth and giving her expert opinion that he should be prosecuted. She also claims days after the crash she's annoyed she hasn't been given a full medical check up, but was clearly wrll enough to go on telly and to the papers whilst not being able to take herself to her GPor local hospital.

Unsurprisingly the great British public have spotted her 5 minutes of fame and attempt to land some dosh.
