Fanny - I know it’s not the same as rewatching in order, but Channel 4 shows two episodes a day as part of their morning line-up - you could put it on series record now and build up a bank of episodes before your op?

You can buy all 11 series on DVD on Amazon for around £60 which would work out a lot cheaper than downloading them all.

In one episode Frasier and Niles have their table taken by another customer at cafe Nervosa and Frasier bundles the man out of the door declaring he needs "an etiquette lesson".

During the episode Frasier feels guilty for his loutish behaviour and arranges to meet the man to apologise. When Frasier meets this man the man tells him he is going to sue Frasier.

Niles, in an uncharacteristic show of assertiveness, intervenes - but what does he do to stop this man suing??

I have a theory that you could go to a hotel anywhere in the world and find a cable channel showing Frasier. It's total comfort TV.

Calls him (the suer) chicken and goads him into raising his hand to him - where he (Miles) dramatically falls backwards and over a table, years of pain in his eyes (‘counter sue!). The tears were real as he landed on a fork.

Is it that the parents have huge noses and the father of Alice had is nose done. She's terrified that Alice will inherit a massive nose.

Why do Daphne's family have such terrible accents? I love Frasier but those mismatched accents are crazy.

Ah, I thought Niles said 'countersuit'.

Could any fellow Frasier fans help me with a query? At least four times in the show a character says "why'd ya do it?" and it gets a big audience laugh. It feels like a reference to something but I've no idea what.

Martin says it to Niles in The New Friend after finding out that Niles put Eddie in a boarding kennel,
