To have no time for 'nonsense' anymore

People expecting me to travel thousands of miles to attend their destination wedding.

People putting their name on waiting lists for designer handbags that cost thousands of pounds.

Pamper parties for 9 year olds.

Any other grumpy old ladies like to list the modern day nonsense they can live without?

Soaps full of murderers, drug addicts and conniving bitches. What happened to the gentle stories of everyday folk that made them so popular in the first place?

Busking with a microphone and backing track. It's town on a wet afternoon love, not fucking X Factor. Get over yourself.

I have the rage with attention seeking entitled absolute bellends. Why should your needs & wants top others. "Because I'm going to fucking scream & shout & have a tantrum u till you do what I want because I'm a fucking spoilt brat that gives not one shit about anyone except myself". That's the parents I'm talking about. Imagine how their offspring will turn out.

I NEED to win the lottery so I can tell all these people exactly what I think of them on my last day at work Wink. I would be euphoric! Grin

Presenteeism. Maybe this was always a thing but has it got worse? People staying at work until all hours simply to be 'seen', technology that was meant to allow for more flexibility being ignored by managers who insist that everyone must attend the office everyday, and the intransigence you see on work related threads from some posters who cannot understand that sometimes circumstance means someone comes in late or leaves early can be bloody depressing.

WhatsApp groups where people expect you to fawn over photos of their offspring but don't deem it necessary to fawn over yours even following suit.

Bossy signs and plaques and Fb messages saying
‘Be happy’
‘In our family we....’
‘Live life your own way’. (Yes, I do, I don’t need you to tell me to -the irony)
‘Live, laugh, love’ WTF?

Grrr
