Just re-watching it here on Gold. Jean and Dolly have to be my favourites. They definitely had some of the best lines.

Dolly: Who has sex on Christmas morning?
Jean: The Dalai Lama
Dolly: Well! He must peel his sprouts the night before!

And, discussing Jean's relationship with Stan.

Dolly: Is he laying your new lino then?
Jean: He's laying anything he wants to lay!

Re VW's other work, I can never say Kimberley properly and I had one in a class at school, so tempting! There's a village not far from here called Kimberley and it was crossed off the list when we were house hunting.

DH and I break out bits from 'my friend Kimberley' a lot, and mention or sight of Malibu sends us off.

MIL had a hostess trolley for years which was brought out at Christmas, and I couldn't look at it without sniggering!

Oh thinks I must have met VW at some point and not realised. I'm a HR Manager, I always have food down my front and my mum is like her mum 😁*
