A new level of ambulance chasing

justmakemeacuppa · 11/01/2019 20:15

Had an unplanned home birth, woman up road parked outside my house to see me get in ambulance, which I refused to go outside as I still had cord hanging for her to drive round the block and come back! She’s on my Facebook as our daughters used to play together. To then get back from the hospital to see she’d posted I’d had the baby! Had to ring family in early hours to tell them before they read fb. Would I be unreasonable to damn this woman!

No
Send Her a fuck off message and then block her.

HollowTalk · 11/01/2019 20:19

Wow that's absolutely disgusting. I hope she's on here and sees how bad people think it is.

WhenISnappedAndFarted · 11/01/2019 20:24

I can't believe she's done that!

Congratulations btw OP!

Ultramic · 11/01/2019 20:24
Shock
Darkstar4855 · 11/01/2019 20:26

That’s shitty behaviour. I’d write her a message/note saying how disappointed I was then not bother with her in future.

justmakemeacuppa · 11/01/2019 20:27

I’ve left her messages on Facebook so people can see what a dick she is!

justmakemeacuppa · 11/01/2019 20:28

The more I think about it the angrier I get

OP posts:
PotteryLady · 11/01/2019 20:30

She can't have much in her life if she's had to do this to get attention - congratulations!

MothertotheLordsofmisrule · 11/01/2019 20:32

What the actual fuck?!?

Seriously people have lost all sense of boundaries on social media.

justmakemeacuppa · 11/01/2019 20:34

I didn’t think I had to deactivate my account for the occasion I just thought everyone knew this was a big no no but to actually park behind the ambulance is a new low

sidesplittinglol · 11/01/2019 20:36

Omg I can't believe she done that. What a dick thing to do! Good on you for commenting for all to see. Shame on her. Did you get any response op?

Many congratulations! Hope you're resting and baby is well x

abetterplace · 11/01/2019 20:40

fucking hell!!!

DobbyTheHouseElk · 11/01/2019 20:43

That’s is unbelievable. I’m raging on your behalf. To do that when you are vulnerable is unforgivable.

justmakemeacuppa · 11/01/2019 20:44

A few people have mentioned the post that I’ve seen on school run. She’s one of them people that talks to everyone and knows everything, no bloke and always the loudest miss popular. She’s right yr wrong type of person.

OP posts:
Bubbinsmama · 11/01/2019 20:46

Thats awful actually!! The day my daughter had her first baby a friend of mine posted her congratulations to Facebook despite their clearly being NO birth announcement....My daughter and her partner had shared nothing other than the pregnancy announcement, they are not public sharers. I couldnt believe it, I messaged and told her to take it down!! Cheeky bint!!!

justmakemeacuppa · 11/01/2019 20:47

It must be a new baby thing! One mum insisting on visiting me now after I asked her to visit a day later but insists her flowers will die that she’s bought!

OP posts:
Bobbiepin · 11/01/2019 20:47

Out her. I'm not normally one for calling people out on social media but that's such a shitty thing to do. Something polite but scathing - "I didn't appreciate you invading my privacy at such a vulnerable time by hovering outside my ambulance and sharing my private information online and I'd thank you for taking that down and minding your own business in future you nosy fuck.

justmakemeacuppa · 11/01/2019 20:50

People knew I was in labour but didn’t know I’d had the baby. Most were patiently waiting for the announcement they just didn’t get it from me 🤨

OP posts:
Mitsuki · 11/01/2019 20:52

I'm sorry she did that OP

Congratulations on your baby though. I hope you are both doing well. Flowers

BeanTownNancy · 11/01/2019 20:53

Sounds like you're lucky she didn't take a photo!
What a dick.

justmakemeacuppa · 11/01/2019 20:56

Just glad I didn’t manage to get in the car I could have had the local pub peering through the car window so cf parking outside might not be the worst thing. Trying to see the bright side 😁

OP posts:
LittlePaintBox · 11/01/2019 20:57

What an idiot! Maybe you could get her a town crier's outfit to make it official?

WontShareMyAuPair · 11/01/2019 20:58

Thats awful.

I found out my uncle had died via facebook. One of his friends posted an RIP message on his facebook wall before my aunt had time to ring round and tell the wider family.

Why? Why do people feel the need to instantly post on facebook?

justmakemeacuppa · 11/01/2019 21:03

Won’tShareMyAuPair sorry for yr loss

OP posts:
elephantinstripeysocks · 11/01/2019 21:07

do you have a loyal friend (that she doesnt know so wont care what she thinks) to write on her post "glad i heard this from you and not @justmakemeacuppa. did she ask you to announce such a special event or are you just that kind of person?"

Ive got an old uni friend that calls people out (on my behalf when im not brave enough) and I do it for her.
