A new level of ambulance chasing

Had an unplanned home birth, woman up road parked outside my house to see me get in ambulance, which I refused to go outside as I still had cord hanging for her to drive round the block and come back! She’s on my Facebook as our daughters used to play together. To then get back from the hospital to see she’d posted I’d had the baby! Had to ring family in early hours to tell them before they read fb. Would I be unreasonable to damn this woman!

Why do people feel the need to instantly post on facebook?

It's pure attention seeking. Glory hunting.

It was probably a very exciting happening for her. I am smiling just reading about it!

Congratulations.

I do love a good birth story but I wasn’t thinking I’d get one where I’d be talking more about the cf neighbor than the actual birth.
Baby is gorgeous and have so far avoided her in school yard so she can’t peep into pram lol
Am I being silly hiding my baby from her lol but I don’t want her near my baby or having to make small talk as I’m not sure I won’t tell her what I think and I’m trying to be the bigger person.
