I seem to remember Jaime and Cersei had a conversation on their giant map where they discussed the fact that they had lost the Twins.

Edmure is technically still in the dungeons as Walder Frey took him back there after the surrender of Riverrun in S6.

Unless Arya freed him (which was never mentioned) he is presumably still there. She was too busy making Frey Bentos pies...

He never really did much as a character in the show. They should never have killed off the Blackfish.

I'd put money on some kind of showdown between the Mountain and the Hound. It's been building since the first series. I wouldn't put too much emphasis on which actor has been seen where, There's loads of misdirection and flimflamnery going on - it's probably being filmed in green screen from a secret bunker somewhere!

I don't think we will see Edmure, wife Frey and baby again, unless they are used as part of an ending where the Seven Kingdoms are divided up and House Tully is given some sort of role in its governance

Edmure was last seen being taken as a hostage by Jamie to rout out his uncle the Blackfish. Officially still in Lannister custody: The wife will have escaped the Frey massacre by being female.

No one will have any respect for Edmure in the long run as he proved consistently craven and thick.

House Tully will either end with him or fall upon his child if he got her pregnant

I was never convinced the Blackfish was dead. Like Standish, we didn't see it.

My theory - totally made up in my own head and slightly less wild than this Brexit mess.

The white walkers were actually relatively happy living their lives up north. As long as a Craster keeps giving them babies (to turn into new White Walkers) they can continue their community in peace. If a pesky wildling got too close they had to get rid but that's what the Whytes were for, security.

So suddenly the bastard Nights watch cut their supply of babies and force them to pull down the wall and go find some somewhere else.

Can you blame them? They're just massively understood

DH and I started from S1Ep1 this evening. We’ve got 90 days to watch 67 episodes so I reckon we’ve timed it about right. Already can’t believe how much I’ve forgotten!

Edmure's wife had a baby - Jaime threatened it when he had taken Edmure captive, it's why Edmure got the Twins to open the gates IIRC. I think I'm right in saying that Edmure hadn't met his baby (son?) at this point. As an aside, Edmure's little swimmers are clearly better at hitting their target than he is at shooting a flaming arrow - he only bedded his bride on their wedding night

I think the same. Dead is very often dead. Absolutely dead. Irrevocably dead. I don't think we'll be seeing many suspected to be dead characters being revealed to have been secretly alive the entire time.

No one has ever seen Edmure's baby, though. It might not even exist. I hope it does though, and his wife is still alive.
