For me it's cheese! Any kind of cheese!!!! I am in LOVE with CHEESE!!! Cream cheese, cheddar cheese, brie, mozzarella, provolone, you get the idea! Grin

However, I have a friend tell me that she thought it was disgusting! Shock even though she relished ketchup sandwiches! Blergh!

I knew another guy who could simply eat a raw onion like an apple, no problem! My autist mind thought, "I wonder if he will be a serial killer one day?" I know, I'm weird! HA!

What one food do you enjoy tremendously on it's own, but according to some people, it makes them want to gag?

OopsInamechangedagain · 10/01/2019 16:37

HoomanMoomin and Peachyk try dipping warm croissants in condensed milk...it's amazing

Peachyk · 10/01/2019 16:47

OopsInamechangedagain ohhhhh that sounds very good... Ooo i imagine a nice thick slice of brioche would too?!

Glad I'm not alone in this.

WhoTookTheChristmasCookie · 10/01/2019 16:48

Garden peas straight from the freezer. Could eat bowls of them.

Ice cubes (started as a pregnancy craving but I can't stop)

Frozen chips

Coffee beans

Heinz pastas (spaghetti bolognese, ravioli..) from the tin

Dry pasta

I have one non-food item too. Radox Stress Relief bubble bath - I use roughly half a bottle per bath and have to physically restrain myself from drinking the rest of it.
When I was pregnant I used to load up clean sponges with warm water and the bath soak then suck and chew them.
Maybe I should take a test...
Fat chance Grin

RomanyRoots · 10/01/2019 16:53

Marzipan,
The skin off rice pudding or custard.
Condensed and evaporated milk.
Most types of cheese
Duck and orange Pate

rabbitfoodadvocate · 10/01/2019 16:55

@WhoTookTheChristmasCookie I used to do the bath water thing with the sponge too!! Thought I was a solo weirdo!

OopsInamechangedagain · 10/01/2019 16:56

Peachyk yes brioche would probably be good too, or left over Christmas pannetone...so wrong but so right!

Bready goodness with condensed milk is a Hong Kong thing:

bonbonours · 10/01/2019 17:03

Hard boiled egg just on its own in my hand.

Nutella straight out of the jar.

Loads of raw veg, cauliflower, mushrooms, etc. (especially when I'm trying to distract myself from eating chocolate /Nutella). Also frozen peas. I think I would like the frozen prawns, I've always been too nervous to try it as wasn't sure if it was OK.

bonbonours · 10/01/2019 17:03

I thought that potatoes were poisonous raw??

CharDeeMacDennis · 10/01/2019 17:10

Fat. From any roast or fried meat. My favourite part of:

Ribeye steak
Roast chicken, duck, pork, lamb
Lamb / pork chops

Could eat it on its own, no bother.

I always choose the fattiest cuts of all the above. Lean meat = pretty pointless, in my book

Sonneedshelp · 10/01/2019 17:12

@CharDeeMacDennis SNAP!!!!

Although I feel I need to break the yearning!!

JemSynergy · 10/01/2019 17:14

I love raw mushrooms with a pinch of salt and drizzled with balsamic vinegar.

Sweetcorn from a tin with paprika added.

ThatThingYouDo · 10/01/2019 17:16
