By the seaside, I quite like the sound of Brighton but have only visited so can't recommend.

SparklyLeprechaun · 06/01/2019 18:52

Wherever you fit in and feel at home.

Jammysod · 06/01/2019 19:00

I'd like to live in a cottage in a Yorkshire village.

Huntawaymama · 06/01/2019 19:04

I live in the Northumberland countryside and love it. I'd love to be slightly nearer the coast though

Zoomerang · 06/01/2019 19:10

I'd like the dramatic scenery and peace of he highlands, with the weather of the South of France, and a 30 min commute to London.

Not that I'm picky, of course.

cushioncovers · 06/01/2019 19:12

Dramatic scenery by the coast but with internet and a good selection of veggie food.

Loveweekends10 · 06/01/2019 19:15

Yorkshire

Bookridden · 06/01/2019 19:20

Usually it's near loved ones.

City or rural?
How close to the coast?
Facilities and amenities nearby.

These are the things to consider, but the answers will be different for everyone.

corlan · 06/01/2019 19:21

London

PinkysEars · 06/01/2019 19:28

Far north-west of Scotland. On a sea loch. Alone.

LaurieFairyCake · 06/01/2019 19:30

London

Everything you need is here including peace and quiet.

Pa10ma · 06/01/2019 19:31

London

Whatshouldonedo · 06/01/2019 19:32

London!! Bloody love it and wouldn't live anywhere else

vampirethriller · 06/01/2019 19:33

North London.

bibbitybobbityyhat · 06/01/2019 19:35

I'm very happy living in London and probably won't leave, but I wouldn't describe it as paradise.

There are many millions of people to whom living in London would be hellish.

I know people who are totally married to living in the country, I doubt they'd call it paradise either.

Imustbemad00 · 06/01/2019 19:36

@LaurieFairyCake
Where do you find the peace and quiet in London? I live in zone 1 and hate it. Although it was nice and quiet between Xmas and new year

Neverunderfed · 06/01/2019 19:38

I couldn't live in a city. Ideal place would be rural, but near a beach. We live in an ideal.spot for us, but wouldn't suit everyone due to not being that accessible to big cities.

skippy67 · 06/01/2019 19:39

London.

RayRayBidet · 06/01/2019 19:41

I want to live in a small village by the sea in Northumberland

LaurieFairyCake · 06/01/2019 19:42

Greenwich/Blackheath Smile

LaurieFairyCake · 06/01/2019 19:42

And walking along the river at the Thames Barrier

Kemer2018 · 06/01/2019 20:12

On the coast bordering open fields and rolling hills.
But with links as I'd still have to earn Sad
Plus I need optical and dental care.....plus any future health issues.

Ethel80 · 06/01/2019 20:14

Right by the sea. I love Brighton but the beach is pebbles and that just isn't right.

I'd love a house on the beach, it's my dream. A nice pub nearby would be nice and not too remote.

DeRigueurMortis · 06/01/2019 20:42

Yorkshire.

Access to cities like Leeds and York, the dales, the seaside....

Reasonable living costs compared to London (though there are some real property hot spots) and a lot of big companies re-locating to Yorkshire so good career opportunities also.

Imustbemad00 · 06/01/2019 21:51

@LaurieFairyCake I don’t fondnthose places that quiet. Especially Greenwich, it’s a tourist spot. As big as the park is, it’s always busy.

I crave the type of peace and quiet you get in the country side. Where you can go for a walk and barely see anybody.
