CombineBananaFister · 06/01/2019 22:01

Whitby - we currently live in a Yorkshire city which I love but would the coastal element, so maybe just a second home there, if we're just dreaming Smile

BunsOfAnarchy · 06/01/2019 22:02

The moon.
Pros;
No trump. No brexit. No Kardashians and Kanye West offending everyone with his incessantly fucked up views. No crime. No rain when you want a barbecue.

Cons;
No Netflix.

Absofrigginlootly · 06/01/2019 22:06

I love bath. Such a beautiful city, full of beautiful Architecture, culture, art, theatre, museums, restaurants, independent shops, parks, countryside,

It has 2 major downsides, traffic a 🤬 nightmare, not near the sea

Wish we could live there but too close to some toxic family we have to be NC with Sad one day again maybe....

MaMaMaMySharona · 06/01/2019 22:08

I live in a beautiful village in Cheshire and I love it!

brizzledrizzle · 06/01/2019 22:08

Apart from the traffic, Bristol.

Amanduh · 06/01/2019 22:10

The Cotswolds or London. I like both

Notanotherpokemon · 06/01/2019 22:10

London!

DevonshireDarling · 06/01/2019 22:10

Devon. I live in a coastal town in Devon, 3 minute drive to the sea, we have sea views as well as lovely countryside walks, through woods, coast path and river walks. It's not too quiet here, but not isolated either, have a decent town, but also a 30 minute drive to Exeter, great links to the motorway and a train station. We're in east Devon, every town/village east of us pretty much has a beach. Love living here, such a relaxed way of life, keep having to remind myself how lucky I am. South and north Devon are also so beautiful, and we're bordering Dorset and Cornwall Grin

Poodloo · 06/01/2019 22:11

London is not peace and quiet 😂 but it's got so much there! I can see why people like living there.

I like Pembrokeshire but it's just too cut off from everywhere else! If Pembrokeshire was closer to somewhere like Bristol, then that'd be the dream!

AhhhhThatsBass · 06/01/2019 22:14

Southern California with an infinity pool overlooking the sea. Or indeed anywhere warm with an infinity pool overlooking the sea not too far from a large city.

ChristmasRaven · 06/01/2019 22:15

Tokyo. IMO, it’s the best city in the world. The shopping and food is second to none. But travel just an hour on their excellent transport systems and you can be up in the mountains or on the beach. It’s super clean and extremely safe. You can leave your handbag on a table outside a cafe, go in and order and it will still be there when you get back. I would move there tomorrow if I could.

Northumberlandlass · 06/01/2019 22:17

As my name suggests, I do live in Northumberland. I’m a market town though, would much prefer something rural, around the Wall or further up the North Tyne....I love the bleakness & rolling hills.

Deadbudgie · 06/01/2019 22:19

Devonshire I’m so jealous. We’re currentl trying to work out how to move to Devon. It has everything we want. Just need to work out about jobs.

I can’t think of anywhere worse than London to live in the uk. I’ve worked there and still occasionally have to travel in. For me it has no redeeming features at all but can understand why certain types of people love it. Good job we don’t all like the same places

Blibbyblobby · 06/01/2019 22:21

Calgary. Glorious summers. ski all winter.

RoboticSealpup · 06/01/2019 22:21

London. I never get bored.

surferjet · 06/01/2019 22:23

London

EmpressJewel · 06/01/2019 22:24

Outskirts of London.

We are 1/2 hour away from Central London in one direction and the same from the countryside in the other.

I lived in a small city for uni and hated it. I love the convenience and variety of London - having all major supermarkets close by, access to lots of museums and attractions, a variety of restaurants, good transport links.

Downsides are high crime, pollution, lack of nice scenery.

Stompythedinosaur · 06/01/2019 22:26

Rural Northumberland (but I am probably biased).

explodingkitten · 06/01/2019 23:33

Tasmania.

steadtler · 07/01/2019 03:34

London (Hammersmith), Frensham or S. Devon in the UK.

Philippines or Malaysia.

I'd also love to live in Washington DC having spent 3 months there.

mokapot · 07/01/2019 03:38

Toronto is love but st kitts would be just fine
