My one is the No Parking sign and the mini car with a Santa ornament in. No idea what it was called but if a tone knows pretty please link. It was very funny.

Two that stick in my mind are: poster realised dh/p was getting up in the middle of the night, regularly, and heading out. She was going to put a tracker in his car. And the other one was whether the cm did, as she said, bring the OP's dc to Chester zoo or not! Dc said they weren't there though he did make a coin somewhere,op was charged and cm produced a seemingly homemade ticket! Anyone?

The Chester Zoo one was a troll, they later came back and did the Frozen cake one

OP, Mumsnet confirmed patio was genuine. Also they confirmed that Softzilla was. Unfortunately cynical people like to call troll at every successful thread. 99% of the time the posters are genuine.

Don't be naive. All MNHQ can "confirm" is if they definitely banned that poster before. Even if they can't do there, there is no guarantee it isn't a banned poster as there are ways around it. They definitely can't confirm whether the story in the thread is true.

People have to use their common sense.

Just a troll saying they made a shit frozen cake and now the client won’t pay or it was the other way around... shit cake delivered and maker demanding pay and posted from the client POV.

I think they came back months later with a thread about cupcakes.

Two I would love to find out more about.
1 made little sense but was about a church concert where the OP didn't want someone singing? It was a very confused thread and made little sense.
2 was a poster who kept waking up finding urine in her toilet and found someone living in her loft

Does anyone remember the update to the lemon drizzle pta bitch? The first two threads are in either classics or aibu but there was a third thread in Chat that's disappeared and I never saw it. It was about the woman who sent an email bitching about the head to the head and said she was 'dyking it up' or something along those lines. I've never been more Shock reading a thread!

I have also wondered about that family who were persecuted for not selling to a local as well. Did the locals follow them to their new village? Where was this awful place with the twitching locals in the pub?!

Just remembered another! Does anyone recall the mysterious crypted notes OP discovered wedged in her front garden wall? They appeared to be in some sort of code. I think more were discovered but can’t remember if it was ever solved?

No worries. I think they got caught out after a few pages when someone googled “crap frozen cake” or similar and found the same picture that they used in the OP.

I can remember a gun safe (usa) that was eventually opened but I don't think it was the original Victorian safe. The gun safe was empty.

Does anyone remember the creepy extra room?

The original Victorian safe was never opened but there was another one where the poster was in the States that was opened. There was nothing in it.

The creepy extra room one was a troll. The op posted a picture and someone did a reverse image search and found the picture.

Does anyone remember a lady (I think she was an American), who had moved to a small village here? She was having all kinds of issues with her neighbours who did not like what he had done with her house, especially the fence and hedges she put up. The fence contractor was sending potential clients around to have a look at her fence too.

She hasn't posted recently (ar least under that name) but it sounds like it really escalated. And it wasn't exactly low lying before. I have contacted her once or twice to see how she's getting on but I feel like in prying (I also used a different username). She has had more than enough of that without me adding to it
