My one is the No Parking sign and the mini car with a Santa ornament in. No idea what it was called but if a tone knows pretty please link. It was very funny.

I know some are trolls but I don’t think all are. Some people are very quick to call troll.

Tbh I don’t care either way. I had finished my book on holiday when the pato door one popped up.

Cant believe patio was a troll! The timeline seemed very believable. I am now thoroughly disillusioned.Sad

Well the patio doors threads were worth it for the stuff everyone else got up to while we were waiting for updates, particularly the county flags and I actually signed up to MN to applaud one of schadenfreudpersonified's (I think it was) very funny Vladimir posts.

OP, Mumsnet confirmed patio was genuine. Also they confirmed that Softzilla was. Unfortunately cynical people like to call troll at every successful thread. 99% of the time the posters are genuine.

There was one just a few days ago about Never being able to visit the boyfriends house and so she watched and there was a wife and child and she apparently went and put a note through the door ?

I thinking you'll find MN say something normally very politically correct. It is more about whether is someone definitely guilty of trolling vs not rather than the person being purely innocent and genuine.

MNHQ can't state with any certainty if a thread is genuine. They can see whether an OP is a previously banned poster and that sort of thing, but they can't know if an individual is telling the truth or inventing some improbable story. I would say that at least half of the threads in AIBU and Relationships are pure invention, and another hefty percentage may have a grain of truth that is wildly exaggerated.

What about the woman who fancied her very quiet builder (who also had false teeth I think Grin) but it was obvious that the foreman had the hots for her? Does anyone know what happened with that or have a link to the thread please? You can’t beat a good love triangle story

There was a thread about a blossoming romance between two colleagues. It has to be in the last year or so. She was leaving the office and they were going to be at a works party together. It was all very 'Will they/won't they'.

I was sad when I never found out what happened. Anyone remember that thread?

There was another one I always think about & wonder what happened, not sure it was on AIBU but the OP had a party and she'd woken up to someone having drawn a detailed figure or face on her back, it was really unsettling, and I always hoped she'd got to the bottom of who was responsible.
