To think my friend is wrong?

My friend is in a relationship with a new man. Him & her still live with their respective parents so they don't get much opportunity to see each other alone. They've been to a hotel once and while they had a good time, he couldn't manage to perform. He said this was due to nerves.

She is considering spiking his drink with Viagara when they go to a hotel again next week. We are in conflict because I think this is wrong. Who IBU?

I'm not saying it is in any way permissible, but don't you think it is a little unfair to the millions of women who have been drugged to unconsciousness and violently raped by men, whom the stand no chance of overpowering and aren't able to escape from, to compare the two directly?

Bluntness100 · 30/12/2018 08:51

Op I am also struggling to believe anyone is that desperate for a shag they would secretly drug a partner in this method,

Why seek to compare and contrast them at all. One type of molestation is not better or worse than another and all are a violation of body and mind, and certainly not to the person enduring it.

I understand what you are trying to say, and I agree with the sentiment of your statement but having been date raped in the more 'traditional' sense, I disagree.

Then I think we we should drop the back and forth as I feel further debate will not be helpful. I fear each of us are fighting our own corner from our own experience.

@absolutelyfuminG1 - he probably wants to have sex You do know that is the rapist's mantra, don't you???

"She wanted it" is commonly spouted by rapists as a defense. I find it disgusting you would use this as justification for rape while drugged.

I suspect there was too much pressure. Rather than suggest viagra book a week at a cheap holiday cottage and spend some time together. January is often really cheap.
