I don't need anything but as usual there are things I asked for for Christmas that I didn't get. So I'm wondering whether to indulge myself...

I got a pair of uggs with some money my parents gave me - £185 down to £90 - I won’t wear them out but they are perfect as slippers in a very draughty old house.

DH got loads of clothes - trousers, jeans, shirts, jumpers, ties, boots - he only buys clothes once a year & everything is worn until it falls apart. Last year he got suits, overcoat & shoes but that’s all still going.

Echobelly · 28/12/2018 17:57

After a couple of jumpers as most of the ones I have are sort of stretchy, tight and a bit short and frankly my stomach requires longer and looser!

Also maybe a suit, as moths ate mine after years of faithful service Angry

I bought some rainbow splashed Doc Martens! I did check with family including my teenage nieces and nephews and they said they are cool and not mid life crisis at all!
Also a water bottle that changes the alkaline levels of the water and a running vest thing that lights up.
Very random!

Ordered some Nyberg boots from Dr Marten. They will be my 6th pair of DMs and trying to stop myself from ordering the purple chrome ones too 🙈

New bedroom furniture. I'm so excited as I've not had a wardrobe for the last 6 years

User600400 · 30/12/2018 12:50

New coat and boots

Mulberry72 · 30/12/2018 12:52

I bought myself a new Superdry coat with the money DF very kindly gave me for Christmas, some new boots from Lavish Luxe, and a couple of Clarins fragrance gift sets.

Bit more sales shopping here, bought some bedlinen for mine & DH’s bed. A pale grey corded set from Sheridan and a William Morris set in neutral shades.

bsc · 30/12/2018 18:31

Don the Hermes scent sounds gorgeous!

I'm looking for a bed, but just don't know what to go for...

We just bought a new mattress. It’s long overdue and I can’t blimmin’ wait for it to arrive!

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 30/12/2018 18:39

We appear to have bought a new couch. We've been talking about it for over a year, so nice to see some actual movement on it, but we passed a sign for a sale today, dropped in and decided there and then. Now we need to work out what to do with the old one!

DonDrapersOldFashioned · 03/01/2019 16:27

More ‘sales’ shopping to add to the list. Unfortunately not of the exciting variety. Had to buy a new tumble dryer this morning, as my current one keeps tripping the mains. It was doing it before Christmas, so I gave it a good cleanout and changed the fuse in the plug. All seemed fine. However, it is tripping again now, so there is obviously something not right. They are the appliance most likely to cause a house fire, so better to be safe than sorry at this point and just chop it in for a new one.

So far I've bought myself a new charger cable. Go me! Xmas Grin

wink1970 · 03/01/2019 16:42

a LOT of bras from Freya & Fantasie - in fact a whole new drawer full Grin

UserMe18 · 03/01/2019 16:44

Managed to buy a whole new wardrobe, I lost 2 stone this year, I had great joy chucking out half my wardrobe! I got £950 fat face clothes for about £425 very pleased with that! Also hit Lush, only a modest £60 compared to the other previous poster, how do you get through £300 worth before it goes off?!
