I don't need anything but as usual there are things I asked for for Christmas that I didn't get. So I'm wondering whether to indulge myself...

I've bought a new saucepan (exciting, I know!), Wellies & 2 bags from Cath Kitson, new underwear and some chocolates from hotel Chocolat.

LesLavandes · 27/12/2018 18:15

Shadylady53. Which Roomba did you buy? I have been googling all day. Worried it will bash into legs of my piano. Too many choices!

Lellochip · 27/12/2018 18:26

I wanted a toaster and kettle from Next -didn't think it would be in the sale but alas... All gone 😞

Ellie56 · 27/12/2018 18:35

Boots and PJs. But not to wear together.Xmas Grin

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 27/12/2018 19:31

Thanks Rick, some lovely jumpers but none actually taking my fancy. I've a notion for a hoodie.

Love your username, btw, Rick rocks Grin

goingonabearhunt1 · 27/12/2018 19:33

Not much except one dress and a floor rug in ASOS.

Kemer2018 · 27/12/2018 19:39

I wanted aura perfume but it's not reduced enough in Debenhams.
I've bought slipper socks from primark £2 and an 18.99 hooped orchid from Aldi for just 5.99 in a lovely pot.
I've got plenty of money but nothing i really need. May get a haircut.

thisismeusernameything · 27/12/2018 20:17

£600 worth of lush reduced to £300. Very happy currently soaking in my glittery bath. coffee maker (bought my own because I’m sick of being asked what I want to get something completely different). Also on the look out for stand mixer and new food processor

Juanbablo · 27/12/2018 20:50

I need a new coat and would like some converse.

drspouse · 27/12/2018 21:20

@Ellie56 why not, sounds perfect for the school run.

Right I've got some melamine bowls and plates in the Cath Kidston sale (if you want 10% off just PM me, first orders only).
Pure Collection may also be raided.

A bullet journal, some light fittings for a room we are doing up and hopefully some new tools for the ongoing project. Have seen an electronic spirit level which is £100 plus so will be hoping to find it on sale somewhere!

drspouse · 27/12/2018 22:10

@RickOShay- do you have a referral code for Pure?

OP posts:
RickOShay · 27/12/2018 22:23

No sorry
this is the jumper I’ve ordered

The one in the right

Youmadorwhat · 27/12/2018 22:26

Nothing I hate sales!!🤮

ShadyLady53 · 28/12/2018 11:03

@leslavandes I got the 671. You could always bubble wrap the piano legs.

drspouse · 28/12/2018 11:13

After 4 tries and changing browsers, I've got my Pure order in. Remembered I also want some mittens for DS who according to the shops is too big for them and should be wearing gloves. But I may brave Next anyway.

OP posts:
RickOShay · 28/12/2018 11:15

What did you get?

drspouse · 28/12/2018 12:33

Boyfriend jumper with a star, cable jumper, and dark brown cardigan. We'll see what fits!

SagelyNodding · 28/12/2018 12:42

Hmmm, I want to get myself something frivolous... Nice underwear, clothes, or make-up!
We will realistically be buying a new oven, a new dishwasher, and a handheld clothes seamer jobbie. Boring but very necessary!
And DS has just knackered the screen on his phone, so I will be getting him a cheap replacement...

gamerwidow · 28/12/2018 12:44

I’ve bought a lovely coat from Oasis which I’d never have bought for myself at £95 but was a steal at £40.

GinTimeAtHome · 28/12/2018 12:47

I ran out of perfume on Christmas Eve so got myself some new ones in the boots sale, one for £30 and one for £33, I also picked dh some new aftershave for £32.

Other than that I don’t need anything! I want a fair few bits of clothing but so far I’ve lost just under half a stone and want to continue this in the new year so new clothes are not on the list.

Oh and a new dressing gown from M&S, reduced to £10 in the sale no way was I paying £30! But oh my is it snuggly and warm.

The kids have pretty much been kitted out.

January this year will be a no spend month so have a few days left to buy anything I think I fancy. In all honesty I’m really struggling to find anything I really want to buy, I did buy some smart bulbs and plugs for my Alexa, that’s it.

Dh doesn’t want anything either! He found a PS4 game for £20 and I did remind him if he wants it he has to buy it before Jan 1st.

winterisstillcoming · 28/12/2018 12:50

A lace panel dress that I have been drooling over from the white company. Winter coats and pyjamas for next year for the children from John Lewis.
Thanks to an Extra 20% code from one of the mumsnet threads I have bought 2 4piece waistcoat suits for the boys for 42.00 for a wedding later next year.

I'm eyeing up 2 bags at the mo. One is a overnighter/hand luggage thing and the other is a backpack.

Junkmail · 28/12/2018 12:51

My husband bought me an entire new wardrobe in the Boxing Day sales (part of my Christmas gifts)—I’ve lost four stone over the last six months and literally none of my clothes fitted me anymore so I’ve got some beautiful new outfits now.
