Anyone else just feel fucking sorry for themselves today?

I have woken up with a cold. Just a cold. Except I feel bloody awful, couldn't sleep all night and now have to go to work with a razor blade throat, running nose and listen to clients moan about us daring to be closed over Christmas.

Who else is having a shitty Monday already?

Another one with a stinking cold. I have been off work sick since Thursday, but being off is almost more trouble than being in. Mine is now at the choked and coughing stage.

Budge up on the plane, please, but bring masks.

I've got a cracked tooth, have nasty sinusitus and I'm going to the dentist on Friday.
Most likely going to have the tooth pulled, so NO Xmas food for me

Feel quite ill with it to be honest, but dentist is not in a hurry because I'm not in pain, just feel extremely grotty!

I ate something that disagreed with me over the weekend, so was poorly yesterday, and didn't sleep at all well either last night or Saturday night, plus I am coming down with a cold. I should be at my last knitting group meeting before Christmas, but I just don't have any energy, so am moping at home.

Oh, and dh is away until tomorrow night, so I am being ill all on my own, with no-one to look after me.

Also have a cold. I’m so sick of blowing my damn nose and my lips are all chapped too.
Also had to put up with the outlaws yesterday which has left a bad taste in my mouth as they’re all miserable ,ungrateful bastards and I get the joy of Christmas Day with them too ...

Spent last week off work with sinus infection. Took my last antibiotic this morning and intended to return to work at 8am.

Pulled into the car park at the nursery, DS (2) promptly pukes all over himself and the car. Not allowed at nursery for 48 hours now and there's no one else to watch him. Also have an appointment at the hospital today, can't take toddler with me. FFS.

Heartofglass I feel your pain. Got shitty cold on sat, DP got it on Sun so even though I still felt like shit he took to his bed all day while I looked after both kids on my own. He’s still in bed today while I’m on a train to London for an important meeting with someone who may or may not be able to give me a better job in the new year. Still feel like shit. DP even had the cheek to moan about dropping one of the kids off at school this morning.

Oh, and I’ve been having a period since August. Getting a bit sick of it now.

Yup, having a big old pity party here. Woke up to DP pissed off about something that happened yesterday and got an entire character assassination delivered to me before breakfast.

Can I join in? I was left standing on the pavement looking like a right cunt, because I arrived at the door of the bus less than one second after the graceless chump behind the wheel had closed it.

Yeah, me too. Have had a stinking cold since the weekend and had to miss a Christmas get-together. Still having to work though as am self-employed. Only thing I have to 'look forward to' this week is an eye test and I am shitting it because my eyes are already dreadful and I have a horrible feeling they've got worse again. Still feeling full of the cold too.
Wish I'd got act/finances together to fuck off abroad for Christmas.

@MerryGinmas I can’t fly either! Waiting for an op on 14 January that I’m absolutely cacking my kecks about. But @MarthaHanson says that the Fucked Off Fiji Special is a magical aeroplane that will allow us to fly. Brilliant!

So yes, I’m waiting for a scary op, feeling like crap and having trouble breathing (hence needing the op), taking 30+ (lost count) pills a day and my silly body is still not acting right and it’s just never-ending pain. And husband has discovered he must leave for two months for work... the week before my op. Ha. HA. Shite.

In good news, I have provided some photos of our new place in Fiji (from an article on fanciest places in Fiji), in addition to the one from @Rhynswynd. Plenty of room for all.

Yes, have had a head ache on and off all weekend, went for a early swim this morning and my head is now worse, working a late shift so I think I might try and sleep off the headache before work.

I have a cold which is bearable but it has kicked off symptoms of my bowel disease which means my stomach is agony and I fell asleep on the toilet in the early hours because I didn't dare move off it. I have a massive work deadline for Wednesday and I'm in the middle of applying for my dream job and I really don't want to mess up the application by rushing it. Roll on Friday

@northernpowermouse have you been to the doctors?

I hope there's an antibacterial air filter on the plane or we'll all be screwed by the time we get there. I'm not sure all these ill people on one plane is a good plan 😂

Id like a seat in the magical Fiji bus. Dd has ASD and simultaneously loves Christmas, but also finds it anxiety/meltdown inducing. I'm losing my patience and ability to cope with her. We have no money, dh is being an arse. I could quite happily bugger off in my own!

I've got a cold and the runs (think I ate something dodgy yesterday). Thankfully I don't have to go into work today but do have to pack for our Christmas migration to family (Friday - but in work Tuesday to Thursday). Just want to curl up in a ball and watch shite Christmas films really.

I am exhausted. Heavy, early period. Hair cut appointment in an hour's time in a busy town centre location, which I really don't want to go to or feel like going to, but am too afraid to cancel at such short notice. Would prefer to stay at home and have a nap. I know, first world problems.

I feel bad for not constantly being able to give my dog attention on the week days that she doesn't go to day care.

Fed up with Christmas pressure. Hate looking at myself in the mirror and only noticing my flaws.

I don’t know about you guys, but as my day rolls inexorably onward I am pretty fucking excited about our trip.

@MerryGinmas yes, all tests came back clear, was referred for scan but am still waiting for that appointment. Really need to chase it up actually, it’s been ages.

Oh and can't find my favourite jeans or leggings anywhere. Washed them last week and now I can't find them anywhere Have also lost a glove

colditz feeling sorry for you, had the same happen to me last year, came on really suddenly when I was in a work meeting, I left early and was glued to the loo passing blood, I have had many uti’s in the past but this was the worst. Hope your feeling better soon.
