SIL stole £65 from online website

Don’t know if I am being uptight but I’m really annoyed by this!!!
My SIL ordered some high end beauty products costing £60 plus delivery. She left them on the tube after collecting from the pick up point.

She then emailed the company to say they had not been delivered and asked them to resend and free deliver for the inconvenience which they did!!! She put pics on Instagram bragging about it and pleased about her new “babies” arriving.

I find it really immoral !

Of course it's theft! The suppliers have now sent the items twice. She may not have benefitted from both sets, but it is theft none the less.

I am surprised that they didn't check the delivery though. Perhaps the pick-up point or delivery person will be paying for the second set? Someone will be out of pocket though.

Notmorewashing · 15/12/2018 13:13

The things some people get revved up about.

She bragged about in on IG, did she? Chinny reckon.

Let's just hope that the delivery man has not been accused of theft / not delivering

Meh

Redglitter · 15/12/2018 15:21

In my Christmas order from Amazon they sent 2 copies of 3 books I had ordered by mistake. I want to return the 3 books but cannot do so without having to pay to do so. I feel dishonest keeping them

Itll cost nothing to rerurn them. Contact Amazon they'll have it collected from you

Used to work at a pick up point.

If we couldn't provide evidence of the person picking it up, then we'd get accused of stealing it. Sometimes the investigations lag behind how long you retain cctv for. If I shop has a few allegations made against it they take the contract away

Take screen and email them?

tried that - they sent me a reply asking for parcel numbers so that they can help me find my missing parcel Confused

What a nasty cow. I hope she gets caught.
