To be miffed for Emily Atack

Because everything seems to be about her looks. I thought she was beautiful on I'm A Celebrity. Her smile literally lit her whole face up and she seemed supportive, funny and down to earth. She just came across as a really lovely woman.

But watching the penultimate episode (I am very behind) with her mum saying her nails were dirty and her hair was messy (and then after saying how proud she was)and then when she came out, Harry Redknapp saying he thought she stood no chance with his son because of how she looked but seeing her with make up on now he has changed his mind

I actually think she is more beautiful without make up and with her big grin and it is sad that someone so lovely can still be criticised.

I know I am over invested so rant over

Emily is beautiful both and far far more importantly has a lovely way about her, excellent sense of humour, too.
I wouldn't say Harry Redknapp is a stunning oil painting himself and to insult a young women about her looks. Well he's just made himself look repulsive, tbh.
Also how does he know she'd be particularly in love with his son.

There is a 17 year difference. If it wasn't a joke maybe thats what Harry meant. She looked far younger and acted like a young girl in the Jungle than the well made up composed woman out of the jungle

I thought she was funny and fun. Had no idea there was any debate about her looks - she's bright and funny and she looks lovely.

No idea why Harry Redknap won. I thought he was boring and came over as a manchild, expecting his wife to do everything for him and run round after him, whilst cooking his favourite foods. But lots of people think that kind of man is 'lovely'.

I liked Fleur too, and John and Ann. Quite a nice bunch this year for a change.

@Awwlookatmybabyspider. It was a joke she started herself, she asked if he was single said she fancied him and asked him to call. She then said obviously not while I am looking like this but I scrub up well.

I thought she seemed absolutely lovely. I’m glad she came second, although it would have been nice for her to win. Yes the screaming was a bit much at times but, from what she was saying about her difficult year and the way she appeared to blossom while in the camp, I think it’s done a lot of good for her.

I also thought it was sad that her mum commented on her hair and nails, especially after Emily had spoken so much about how she struggled with her appearance. My husband and I both thought she looked beautiful without make up. Lovely with make up too, of course, but her freckles are gorgeous. I hope she uses this opportunity to show off her natural beauty more.

(Oh, and I desperately want to go on a night out with her and John Barrowman!)

Maybe its just that Jamie likes very glamarous women and as naturally pretty as Emily was in the jungle she was far from glamorous.

I liked Emily, she came across as genuine & someone I could genuinely get on with.

I'd have to wear ear defenders sometimes, but enjoyed watching her.

I hope she does well out of it.

She's quirky. I like quirky. I'd never heard of her before but she seems lovely. She looks totally different without makeup - in a good way.

@boswellandforshort I agree with everything you have posted. I know nothing about her mum and she may just have been struggling with her own emotions, bit I don't think she came across well. Not just with the comments about her hair and nails but also when she kept telling her to stop crying. I thought it was lovely that Emily was so happy to see her mum and imo she should have recognised it as something really nice than as a negative thing.
