Madmarchpear · 10/12/2018 22:42

Oh yes to book of life. I have a massive crush on Manolo.

Spanglylycra · 10/12/2018 22:43

Nope but Tangled however... that gets me every time when she is reunited with her mum and dad!

MehhDays · 10/12/2018 22:44

I love this film. The bit that gets me is the expression on her mum's face when she catches her trying to leave the island and helps her pack food

This. This moment every time. I always get emotional and I've seen the film about 50 times.

Pleasedontdrawonyoursister · 10/12/2018 22:44

And ‘inside out’! Makes me cry every time thinking how my daughters are growing and changing... waaaaaah

Huntlybyelection · 10/12/2018 22:47

I cry - a lot - when she is dancing with her gran by the sea. Sob buckets.

Same with the last few minutes of Coco. I told my parents abkut it and I couldn't even tell them about it without crying. Then my dad watched it with DD and he cried too.

Wallabyone · 10/12/2018 23:01

Love Moana. I haven't seen Coco yet, but my 6 and 4 year olds watched with DH and they said it's too sad to watch again!

firsttimemaman · 10/12/2018 23:05

I watch Moana EVERY DAY.

10 mo DS adores it.

Soundtrack in the car stops tantrums dead in their tracks.

babyinthacorner · 10/12/2018 23:11

YADNBU
Everything about it is brilliant - the voices, the GENIUS soundtrack, the story... I often try to sing along full belt with ‘I am Moana’ and I very rarely get through it without breaking down. “I will carry you here in my heart, you remind me that come what may, I know the way... I am... SOB SOB SOB” 🤣

AtrociousCircumstance · 11/12/2018 22:08

Spangly and when the soldier runs in to tell the king and queen they’ve found her, and they know just from his look, and they run to her

Love Tangled. Amazing songs, great storytelling, ri-hi-diculously good animation.

CaptainHammer · 11/12/2018 22:14

Yup it’s the grandma bit for me too. You will cry at Coco too but it’s a great film.

Spanglylycra · 11/12/2018 22:44

@AtrociousCircumstance yes exactly that bit!

ChristmassyContessaConSparkles · 11/12/2018 22:50

The bit where you realise the demon is Te Fiti, driven by rage and desperation after losing her heart... that gets me, every time. And the way Moana walks up to her and doesn't flinch, and heals the wound...

YourEggnogIsBetterThanMine · 11/12/2018 22:55

Moana gives me goosebumps, I love it. My middle DC is obsessed with Coco so we have it on loop atm.

TheLesserOfTwoWeevils · 11/12/2018 23:05

I love Moana. The bit when she takes the heart to Te Ka/Te Fiti..."they have stolen the heart from inside you, but this does not define you. This is not who you are, I know who you are" 😭😭😭

I always cry at Coco and Tangled as well

HalloumiGus · 11/12/2018 23:10

I ugly snot cry at Moana and Coco. Love them both.

tigercub50 · 11/12/2018 23:12

Haven’t seen Moana. What is Coco about?

supermum85 · 11/12/2018 23:18

oh the bit where she sings to taca and returns the heart of tafiti makes me cry every single time. then i cry more as she teaches her tribe how to sail and the stingray swims under the boat. im a mess by the end of it. hubby things im mental.

Joinourclub · 11/12/2018 23:23

Yes ! I love moana. Unfortunately my 5 year old has tired of it we’ve seen it so much, but I’m determined to get my 1 year old into it!

ASAS · 11/12/2018 23:30

"You are your father's daughter, stubborness and pride, mind what he says, but remember who you are inside...."

Up there with bit of Toy Story 3 when Andy's mum walks into his empty room.

Fucking traumatised!

GlitterPixie · 11/12/2018 23:31

I LOVE Moana I watch it every couple of months I always cry but the bit that gets me is when Maui does the haka when he doesn’t have his fishhook and he’s going to sacrifice himself so Moana can get past Te Ka

Merryoldgoat · 11/12/2018 23:32

I watched it at a time of real emotional turmoil and it kind of ‘fed’ me which sounds beyond wanky but it did.

When she replaces Tefiti’s heart I lose it.

GlitterPixie · 11/12/2018 23:34

My husband always gets ‘something in his eye’watching Moana too but nothing compares to the first time we watched Coco we had to pause it we were crying so much. Both lovely films

IPromiseIWontBeNaughty · 11/12/2018 23:36

Think I need to watch Moana. Coco has me hysterically sobbing not helped that I first watched it after my fabulous FIL had died. We will talk about him & I’ll make sure everyone does not forget him. Wonderful man.

ThistleAmore · 11/12/2018 23:38

I don't cry, as a rule, but Moana, Coco and Frozen had me in bits.

Love the strong female characters and relationships, remind me of my own family.

Actually feeling a bit choked just typing this and thinking about them...
