I'm on mat leave and DS is cluster feeding all night. I'm going insane and have exhausted all of my Spotify playlists.

I need a binge watch-able tv series!

Loved:

  • Breaking Bad
  • The Street
  • Staircase
  • Evil Genius
  • Empire

But am open to all suggestions!

My 7 week old is a very demanding little thing!

Orphan Black. Amazing acting and plot.

The Rain

violeticecream · 06/12/2018 23:31

Better call Saul is fantastic. If you have seen breaking bad you will love it
Mad men is really good
Narcos - brilliant

alienor13 · 06/12/2018 23:33

Midnight , Texas . Not too taxing when you are tired .

SleightOfMind · 06/12/2018 23:35

From your list (which is not far off mine apart from BCS, which I didn’t hate but left DH to and never caught up)

The Wire (do a min 3 eps before you walk away)
Line of Duty(2eps for the hook)

It’d be not to Wink

alienor13 · 06/12/2018 23:36

I love the Vampire Diaries which I'm sure isn't right at 48. Also the Originals . There's a new spin off coming soon...

EncroachingLoaf · 06/12/2018 23:38

I'm only familiar with Breaking Bad on your list but some of my favourites and recent binges are:

Vikings - at the top of the list for very good reason!
The Killing (Danish version)
The Crown
House of Cards
Peaky Blinders
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
The Bridge
Better Call Saul
Haunting of Hill House

ChishandFips33 · 06/12/2018 23:40

Queen of the South
Designated Survivor
The Crown
Lucifer (may not have been Netflix though!)
Shooter
Suits
Elementary (with Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu)
Once upon a time
The Bridge
Silver Spoon
The Heist

mswilliamnot · 06/12/2018 23:40

Also try How to get away with murder (HTGAWM). It’s a ‘must watch’ in my opinion

I’ve heard Queen of The South is meant to be really good, so about to start that off!

Peanutbutterjar · 06/12/2018 23:41

I watched every episode of ER over a week when I was ill, but not I’ll enough not to watch TV. By the end I was fairly sure I had qualified as a doctor, and could perform an emergency Chest drain, order bloods, chem 7s, atp, mri etc..

I had a really vivid dream where I was a US emergency room doctor saving lives, whilst my handsome colleague stared at me over the gurney...

ChishandFips33 · 06/12/2018 23:42

Alienor I love Vampire diaries and Originals too and not far off your age also currently watching shadow hunters which seems geared toward teenagers
We are young at heart

ChishandFips33 · 06/12/2018 23:43

The West Wing. At least a decade since watching it, and still my favourite series of all time. Now more than ever, Bartlet for President!

FromEden · 06/12/2018 23:56

The letdown on Netflix. Very funny, think I watched the whole thing in one night

OffToBedhampton · 06/12/2018 23:56

Lie to me (Tim Roth is brilliant)
Lucifer (Prime)
Line of duty
Unforgotten
Mindhunter
Limitless (series after the movie)
Happy Valley
The Good Place
Brooklyn 99 (comedy)
Prime Suspect
New Girl
White Collar
Burn Notice
The Office (US version)
The Crown

Colabottles64 · 07/12/2018 00:01

I personally loved these whilst feeding as they were a bit lighter:
The Good Wife
Gilmore Girls
The Letdown
Catastrophe

Then for the crime/suspense:
Prime suspect (Helen mirren is amazing)
Happy Valley

The Bridge/The Tunnel

Thank goodness for on demand!

bakingcupcakes · 07/12/2018 00:10

Killing Eve
Informer

I watched both of those over 2 days. If I'd had time I would have done them in a day.

Oysterbabe · 07/12/2018 00:11

I enjoyed Jane the Virgin for something a bit lighter. Also My Crazy ExGirlfriend.

Mrsjohnmurphy · 07/12/2018 00:15

Does anybody know what this series may be? I started watching then wandered off, might have been set in Israel, think people were implicated in a terrorist attack/plot, but people who appeared normal. I know that's vague.
