I'm on mat leave and DS is cluster feeding all night. I'm going insane and have exhausted all of my Spotify playlists.

I need a binge watch-able tv series!

Loved:

  • Breaking Bad
  • The Street
  • Staircase
  • Evil Genius
  • Empire

But am open to all suggestions!

My 7 week old is a very demanding little thing!

Oh wow. SO MANY SUGGESTIONS! I'm stuck now as there's so much here I now want to watch. Think I'm going to start with The Killing :)

Mindhunter
Grimm
Manhunt: Unabomber (I would force people to watch this if I could, it's mind-blowingly good)
Travelers (American spelling, not that I can't spell!)
Line of Duty
Luther
Ripper Street

Robin2323 · 07/12/2018 10:47

And:

Walking Dead
Firefly
Lost -( stick with it)
Black Sails

Hinterland is also on Netflix and is brilliant. It’s a crime drama filmed in Wales. They filmed it in Welsh and English, the Welsh version is called Y Gwyll. It’s the English version on Netflix

Pinkruler · 07/12/2018 11:53

Is Six Feet Under still available? that is brilliant.

Also the Crown is fantastic - even DH is enjoying despite having sniffed at it for ages.

HebeMumsnet · 07/12/2018 11:58

Would also recommend The Staircase and Killing Eve (and making notes here, too).

Dragonlight · 07/12/2018 12:01

Older series like
A Country Practice,
Judging Amy
Cold Case
Poirot

Nothisispatrick · 07/12/2018 12:09

I’m also on mat leave with a 9 week old. I have so far watched the sinner, Luther and line of duty (amazing). Also one series of Riverdale but bored of that now. On Iplayer I’m watching war and peace and inside no.9.

I need something new. Seen breaking bad, making a murderer etc already.

TwistedStitch · 07/12/2018 12:12

Anybody who has Netflix really needs to watch Power! It's sooo addictive and a whole 5 seasons to binge.

TheChickenOfTruth · 07/12/2018 12:22

I've binged a lot of TV in my time. The thing I binged the hardest was Desperate Housewives in June after some emergency surgery and I was signed off for 6 weeks. Had nothing better to do. 😂

Anothermothersusername · 07/12/2018 12:26
