MN is more trolls than regular MNetters. Shame as pre trolls it used to be a great way of 'avoiding what I should be doing'!

I am the former today.
28/40 pregnant, on a weeks A/L, and ‘instructed’ by my other half to have a chill day because I over did it yesterday. (He’s not wrong, I am knackered) but I’m BORED! I don’t know what to do with myself.

Prior to being pregnant, a weeks A/L would have been spent kayaking/climbing/mountain biking, so sitting watching telly for a day is not something I’m accustomed to.

Im definitely on here to avoid doing that I have to. I should really be getting back but I don't want to!

I'm on when breastfeeding. I used to read the dailymail but got bored of the fake news and hundreds of articles on female celebrities appearance. The dailymail referenced mumsnet quite a bit and I looked it up and now I'm here 😂

YANBU but occasionally a thread comes up that provokes debate in the wider world and I think they can be valuable

Probably not so much bored just avoiding real life for a bit in the same way you might watch TV or read a book.

I am full of cold today, so am snuggled on the sofa drinking lemsip and letting this awful cold have its course.

Although have just had to get up off my cosy nest to chase away next doors cat away from the bird table. Looks at lazy dog - that was your job.

I am 100% on here to avoid doing what I need to do, which involves going out in the cold and the rain instead of sitting under a blanket sipping coffee and dicking about.

I have about eleventy billion things to do and I seriously don't want to do any of them.

It's quite a good distraction really.

I work at home and browse when printing out documents. Luckily my boss (me) is very understanding

i'm 37 weeks pregnant, still at work for another week with literally NOTHING to do (frontline job so in office restricted), and O2 mobile data has gone down so I cant even scroll through SM... so yes. correct I am very bored [big grin]

It is not intentional. I wake with great plans, open albu and woosh time as flew by. I need to get my butt in gear.

There's a certain element that comes here just for the 'fun' of putting the boot in when people are down.

I'm avoiding writing reports in German - its so much easier to write random stuff in English. I've always been a procrastinator although its a terrible self destructive trait...
